What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Being natural and authentic. Most people I photograph are not models - they are real people with understandable anxieties about being photographed - my job is to make the session fun and enjoyable. Capturing those magical moments that help to tell the story of the person I am shooting.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Apart from the obvious client brief, its important to fully understand what the client is looking to achieve - any visual references or influences can help get closer to the clients desired outcome.
What do you love most about your job?
Absolutely everything! It's a privilege being a photographer and to create image that people love means everything.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Photography isn't a 9-5 job. Working for myself allows me the flexibility to be anywhere I need to be to ensure I am giving my clients 110%
