Brilliant, arrived exactly at the arranged time, quickly assessed the type and required positioning of the ceiling lights to be fitted, then inspected my malfunctioning and, in some parts, antiquated off-peak night storage heating system. He then completed the installation of the remote-controlled variable light fittings and tested the system. Moving onto the heating system, which had already beaten two previous electricians' attempts, he then displayed an ability to not only think on his feet but round corners at the same time; with a couple of relatively inexpensive parts and a bit of rewiring, it was all working perfectly.
