From my initial, emailed enquiry regarding the Renotec roof coating system to completion of the finished job I have to say that the many people I dealt with at Artisan, along with those who worked on my property, are a real credit to the company and I felt as though the company itself couldn't do enough for me. My two priorities were 1) selecting what I considered to be the right/best coating system and 2) finding an accredited company who are authorised and trained to apply it and who I felt I could trust (Artisan's excellent Trustpilot reviews assisted me greatly with this) to handle the all important preparation and final application, what i've ended up with is a finished job that I am absolutely delighted with and which surpasses all of my expectations... Even my neighbours are agasp at the transformation and quality of the completed work! Justin was brilliant and replaced the roof with a new Firestone rubber roof and modified a wooden box to allow rain to flow more easily. I would certainly recommend Artisan. We had a flat roof replaced by Justin and Emily. We also had the ceiling replaced with cladding recommended by Justin. The work was carried out brilliantly despite the wet weather. Justin went over and above to complete the work without too much disruption. Ensure you have a cream cake ready for when Ollie is round. I had to have my entire roof replaced as it was leaking. Artisan provided an excellent, professional and thorough service in undertaking the work, even though the weather made it a very difficult task. I was kept informed of what was needed at all stages and they went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the work and the costs. Our roof after 40 years was looking a little worse for wear and covered in moss. Artisan quoted us to pressure wash, repair, renovate and seal the roof at an acceptable price. They kept us well informed of the dates they were coming and what procedures they would do on the day. A special thanks to Jade who was very knowledgeable in what needed doing and was the constant contact in the procedure. Ollie, one of the directors, came to help Jade on the final day of spraying. The best money we’ve ever spent! After 33years & living near lots of trees, our roofing was totally green & damaged in places. The Artisan team restored it to its former glory. All moss was removed, 4 cracked tiles replaced, repointing in places, all facials, soffits & gutterings cleaned! The final sealant they applied should guarantee it will look great for at least another 10+ years! The initial appointment with the surveyor went extremely well with a good deal being arranged - one that met our available budget! The team were punctual & worked efficiently for the best part of 3 days; dodging the rain! Having previously replaced two of our three flat roofs earlier this year Artisans returned to complete the third . At the risk of repeating our previous review Artisan provided a professional service from the start with salesman followed by surveyor followed by the excellent team of Danny and Gary who again not only provided an excellent service as ordered but also repaired work previously carried out by other contractors who did not complete the task as required. Although a stressful time ( again )it was a pleasure having them on site. They were both respectful of my wife and I and our property and we enjoyed having them with us. Unfortunately the work revealed a weakness of our main pitched roof which we are to have replaced early in 2026. I have a new roof!! Great communication from start to finish and professional and polite always. On day 1 - Thought I was keeping them sweet with chocolate hobnobs but preferred biscuits were choc digestives and bourbons! We have used Artisan for 3 jobs now, new driveway at front, resealing the tiles at back & now they have just finished doing the fascia & soffits on our bungalow & replacing our flat roof. They are very professional, hard working & friendly, especially Justin & Andy who have been working on our roof. They went out of there way to do all the little things to complete the job including fitting a water butt for us & advising & guiding us through the whole process. A very personal and professional relationship with their customers via visiting members of staff or by phone - a good company set up. Danny and Gary worked flat out to prepare the site ready for slabs to be laid on our new patio. (Such stamina 😁) We are very pleased with the end result. From our first contact with the initial Surveyor our experience with Artisan has been great. We were particularly impressed by their safeguarding policy which automatically removed any hard sell element from the process. Second survey confirmed our requirements and the deposit. Our two operatives arrived to do the work and to my surprise Emily and Jade walked up the drive. In the event, from lugging their compressor/pump out of the van to undertake to pressure washing, through to the clean up and completion, they did an excellent job. Fall pipes blocked or disconnected, protection for both the neighbour and our lawns and a great job on cleaning and coating our roof. It looks like new. Their cleaning of windows, frames, cills, gutters and soffits was meticulous. Plus Jade and Emily were not only good at their jobs but absolutely lovely to deal with. Telephone contact with Rob to check everything was progressing well. Finally, contact with the office Administrators was both pleasant and professional. The work has only just been completed so now just awaiting final paperwork and guarantee. I would happily recommend Artisan. However, you"ll have to check back in 10 years to confirm the longevity of the anti fungicide and ProPERLA coating. More...

We’re so glad to have had our rendering repaired with Artisan. Everyone that we’ve spoken to has been so helpful and put our best interests first with the help of their professional knowledge. When we found out that the damage to our rendering (from before we bought our house) was worse than expected, they helped us make a new plan on how to get the house looking great again. Following on from the first class exterior repair, recoating and fab finishing painted coatings on the house completed by Ryan, I then moved onto the driveway and Patio sealing and repairs. Once again a first class job by Danny having to redo some dodgy grouting on a Sunday to ensure all was correct for the finishing seal. Artisan Coatings and Exteriors applied a ProPERLA façade coating to my home and I am extremely happy with the result. I think it looks very smart, and I’ve since had several very positive comments from neighbours. My experience was of a very professional business. The office-based staff, specifically Jake and Amy, were extremely friendly and efficient. Lee, who did the initial survey and sales contract, gave a detailed product description and demonstration of ProPERLA and was happy to answer any questions I had. Likewise with Martin who completed the second survey. Dale, who carried out the work itself, was lovely. He worked extremely hard and left the site clean, safe and tidy at the end of each day. He was professional, on time and even fixed a piece of guttering that wasn’t on his schedule of work because he wanted the product to look as good as it should. From my experience, the service given by Artisan Coatings and Exteriors matches the product on offer. I was also impressed by the safeguarding procedure the company has in place to protect older customers and ensure family are aware of decisions being made and any work planned / carried out. The third time we have used the company for a significant project on our house. What can I say ,what brilliant guys . Was just intending to have my roof cleaned and coated,upon inspection It was found my ridge tile were not in good condition, so deal was done at a fair price ,and so a new dry ridge tiles were fitted . as I had business in wale I left the guys to it ,and had confidences that the work would be completed to a good standard,.photos were sent to me for me to see has progress was bieng made . Artisan Coatings providing a great service for rerendering our house. We had a particularly difficult colour to match, as were only redoing part of the house (due to our budget). They visited several times to ensure the colour was a perfect match and kept us updated throughout. Our block paving had not been cleaned since it was first put down so was desperately in need of some attention. Danny & Chris were the initial team on site and they took care of an alteration to an ACO drain (replaced it), and did a first pass clean. A couple of days later the sanding and sealing was done by Tom, and then Danny & Chris came back to finish off and do a hand over. The communication was top notch, we were never left hanging, and overall, it was first class experience. The block paving looks like new again, and we also get the guarantee with the sealing job. We have just had our roof cleaned and sealed, with some repairs carried out on broken tiles and a loose ridge tile. The result is amazing: looks like a new roof. Richie and Liam carried out the work: they were hard working, skilled craftsmen who took pride in their work. Whilst we knew that our pebble-dashed semi detached property would require some maintenance in the near future we hadn't planned anything until Artisan knocked on the door to offer a quote. From that point on all our dealings with Artisan have been excellent. The work required was to repair damaged pebble dash and then to apply Properla coating to the exterior. Rob in the office provided great communication about the planned start date and continued to keep in touch throughout the work. Danny and Chris carried out the work to a first class standard despite the extreme heat at times. They were so friendly, helpful, professional and accommodating when we changed our minds on one or two aspects of the project. The end result exceeded our expectations! My wife and I are so pleased with the end result and already neighbours have commented on how lovely the house now looks. I have had my roof cleaned , brickwork sealed and lovely front windows and door , I am very satisfied , a few timing issues with the windows and the bit of grouting that was needed before the sealing of the bricks was not neat but that was minor.
