Animals at home have been fantastic with my cat so far! I booked them for the 30 minute cat sitting visits for our holiday. They came over for a discussion on exactly what she needs & to learn her routine. They have a great balance of professional, but friendly & casual. They give updates, pictures & videos of the interaction to reassure you on how they're doing whilst you're away. It's all at a very good price for such a great service. My cat is very nervous around new people as she hasn't had much exposure to new people because of lockdown. After a couple of visits, she's been getting more fussy & comfortable with him. Lynette, from the kings Lynn and West Norfolk branch of Animals At Home, collected my new puppy for me last Friday. I was extremely happy with her service. I chose Lynette from a variety of different puppy carriers because of her detailed email response and her reassuring words when I phoned her up. She kept in touch for the whole journey, from Barnsley, and as Amber, my puppy, was so small she put her in a cat carrier on the front seat with her. This meant she could immediately see if Amber became upset or needed changing-which did happen. She also stopped for cuddles with the puppy and to feed her. Therefore, Amber arrived happy, calm and settled, even though she had had a very long journey. I cannot recommend Lynette enough. Many thanks again for a wonderful service. More...

A massive thank you to Andy Kinnard of Animals At Home (National Forest) Ltd. I was really stuck getting my dog to a veterinary appointment. I contacted Andy and at really short notice was able to arrange for him to pick up my dog and take him to our local vets. He was incredibly professional and my dog was so relaxed. Andrew at animals at home ,Burton on trent, provided us with a fantastic service. He visited our cat daily giving him lots of fuss, tidied up his mess when he decided to shred some of our carpet and knock off a glass pot and even put out our bin. I cannot recommend Donna & Jeff enough! They are our first port of call when we book a holiday or if we just need someone to check in on our Harbour, they always squeeze us in! Our newfoundland absolutely adores spending time with them, and our minds are always at ease thanks to the special care and attention they give him. From forgetting to give them keys, forgetting leads, whatsapp pictures and updates, they figure it out and they do it all! We have been using Donna and Geoff for Daphne our golden Lab for over a year now. They provide a fantastic service and would highly recommend them. Our dog walker Verity is first class, last week when Daphne was poorly she went above and beyond her duties. this is excellent service was stuck not having transport to take & return my little dog to nxt town vet hosp for a surgical procedure,thanks to caroline from wsm the service was out standing communication was brilliant and made the whole transportation so non stressful so a huge thnk u will use them again if ever in the predicament,would recommend the service very highly

This service was recommended to me when my beloved dog of 13 years became very ill and the descision made to let him sleep in peace . Not being able to get him to the vet as i dont drive i rang Bev (leighton buzzard) as recommended and she came with her warm friendy nature she then brought him there and brought him back to us so we could see him one last time asleep she also arranged all his cremation and delivered him back to us the next day . Much as you love your dog there are times and places you can't take him with you. This was becoming a real problem until we noticed the Animals at Home van just around the corner from us in Hastings. What a liberation! Lee responds at short notice, is totally reliable and our collie goes off with him without a backward glance (a bit galling for us). Almost a tailor made service taking account of food and likes and dislikes. When we come home after a day or weekend away we have a relaxed and happy dog, can't say better than that.
