This company is an absolute con and a disgrace. The only reason they must still be going is because they take advantage of people in a vulnerable situation. My poor mother was locked out at 11:30 at night, she was in such a state she didn’t check the reviews and neither did I, this company was the first we rang and they said they would be 45mins. Perfect as it’s late and she’s a woman on her own on the street. The guy then turns up and does the work and she still doesn’t know the price. He then wanted £260. She was gobsmacked and couldn’t afford to pay there and then. She was happy to give him what she could and for an invoice to be sent so I could pay first thing in the morning. The boss then constantly rang her and threatened her. The workman remained on site and she felt so unsafe she ended up calling the police. The police’s advice was for an invoice which this company refused. They also told her to lock her self in her house now the door was open but she felt scared as the locksmith could easily just get back in. At nearly 2am of her saying she couldn’t pay as I was not there he left, but took the lock with him! So she spent the whole night with a door she was unable to lock, and to leave this morning had to leave it wide open as she has no back garden. I am absolutely disgusted you would do this to a woman of age who lives on her own. She tried very hard to find solutions but was just met with threats. These people ring you in a emergency like this because they need compassion and they’re scared and this is how you treat them. Absolutely vile and I would urge you to never use this company not even in a emergency. Looking at previous reviews I wish I did the same. Obviously rach in customer care is having a bad few months with customer complaints. No ther words to describe this company bar from cowboys. £350 to fit a new lock (that was broken and wouldn’t lock) then tried to tell me the mechanism is broken and obsolete (lie it’s not). The replacement mechanism would be over £300 to replace and another £200 labour. Drilled lock out, made an absolute mess. Need a new door he’s done that much damanage. Reached out to customer services to who eventually got back to me and they basically said the £350 I’ve already paid still applies. And £65 for a broken lock. “Locksmith” totally took advantage of a single women living on her own and just plucked prices out of this air. Got another quote from a different company. For a new lock and new mechanism plus labour £160. Not nearly £1000 as quoted by these fraudsters. I WILL be taking this further. I now need a new door as your guy has totally ruined mine. Our experience with this company was completely horrendous. The locksmith that was brought down destroyed our perfectly operating door, and made several failed attempts to make a mountain out of a molehill. They attempted to charge an extra £200 for unnecessary work to our door. As a result, we felt intimidated as the locksmith threatened to call an external colleague; this left our disabled child extremely distraught and vulnerable, anticipating harm towards their guardians. Moreover, our neighbour came out to support and the man left. To conclude, the number (01925 696113) was unsupportive and failed to resolve our problems; a more reputable business has had to be called to fix their mess for a quarter of the amount quoted. Called out locksmith who arrived in a private car with no specialist tools, he drilled out the lock on the front door but still couldn't open it and said it was the multi lock gearbox. So we went to back door and he drilled that out and for that charged me £210. I asked about replacing the lock and was told about another £175 plus vat so I told him to leave it and I'll get someone in that can do the job. In the morning I replaced the back door lock barrel for a cost of £13.59 and took me 5 minutes. The new locksmith turned up in the morning and opened the front door in 2 minutes with a spreader tool, it turned out all that was wrong was the keep had come unscrewed which is why it wouldn't open, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the multi lock system. Apart from traffic delay it was quick however quoted £60 on the phone and ended up pay £140 which is a lot for a single parent … but everything was good except the charge

Edit: Since the initial visit, Rach in customer services reached out to me and had the matter investigated while offering me a partial refund which has put my mind to rest about the matter now. Original: Called for a locksmith as family accidentally locked out. Got told the visit would be £69. Locksmith arrives then quotes me £189 for drilling into the lock as apparently the key could not be pushed or hooked out from the other side. Once lock was drilled, then told it would be £406 to fit a new barrel, not even a complete lock and handle. It's absolute daylight robbery and would have been left with a back door and no lock if I didn't accept the final account. More...

Do not trust their locksmiths. Don’t use their services. They charged me £470.20 to take a small lock off my bag. Made me pay in cash, refused to take a credit card. He refused to give me a receipt. They are a dishonest business. I put a curse on them, they will be bankrupt in 3 years. The locksmith is dishonest and pocketed the excess. I was told I would be charged £59 plus VAT or £89 plus VAT. The locksmith/criminal will become homeless in 2 years for cheating me. If a “Stefan” comes out, he will try to cheat you. I couldn’t lock my front door. They came out to my home, but didn’t have the correct parts. Looked very dodgy as the man didn’t drive a van, just his own car. First visit was charged at £198 for a temporary weekend fix. Then charged £135 for new gearbox replacement on the Monday. He did the job but left me with a bitter taste of being ripped off.
