I’ve been using Heather as my pet sitter for over 20 years and we truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with our animals. Over the years, she’s looked after all of our pets which includes dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, chickens, goats and even our horses with such care, compassion, and professionalism.
Whether it’s regular dog walks, pop-in visits or house sitting, Heather is always reliable, calm and incredibly experienced. She takes the time to really get to know each animal and treats them like her own. It’s such a relief knowing we can go away and completely relax, knowing they’re all in the safest hands.

What do you love most about your job?
I love the genuine connection I build with each animal. Every pet has it own personality,quirks and routines,getting to know them is an absolute job. Whether its a playful pup bursting with energy or a senior cat who just wants some company. I find it incredibly rewarding to be someone they can trust & feel safe & happy with.
Being able to provide time, comfort and care when the pet parent are away, gives me a real sense of purpose. I understand how important it is for owners to know their pets are in good hands. I take pride in being that reliable, commoassionate presence. Its more than just walking or feeding, its about giving each animal the attention, affection and consistency they need to thrive.
Another thing i love is the variety & joy that comes with every day. No two days are the same. One moment I’m exploring nature trails with an adventurous dog or two & the next I’m sharing quiet time with a cat curled up on my lap. Its a career i have loved for over 40 years now. Its full of fun, wagging tails and happy reunions. I wouldn’t trade it for anything else in the world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Most of my work comes from word of mouth, but i have been on pet sitting sites for about 9-10 years and just found out that the pet owners are being charged a booking fee each & every time they book though the sites as well as taking commisson from the pet sitters so I would like to offer my pet owners a cheaper way of paying for a walker or sitter.

I’m fully insured for the pets I look after and have a boarding license from the council. I am always happy to keep the owner updated and send photos and videos so you can relax knowing that your pets are in caring and capable hands.
I cover Braintree and surrounding areas and offer a range of flexible services including walks, daycare, overnight boarding from 1 night plus, home visits, house sitting and more. I always do a free meet and greet and happy to answer any questions you may have. Any new boarder staying longer than 2 nights will need a trial night.
My goal is quite simple and that is to give pets all the love and attention they deserve whilst giving the ownwr peace of mind.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I wear a mask when doing meet and greets due to the fact i have older clients so rather be safe than sorry and not pass on germs when going to the older persons home

I offer 15,30 and 60 and 90 minutes walks for puppies and dogs. I mostly do solo walks but can do groups or walk another well behaved dog with your dog for comapny.
Home visits
I offer home visits either one ot two per day to visit your pets cats, dogs, puppies, rabbits etc..
House sitting
I offer house sitting where I stay at the pets home
Wedding day chaperone
I can look after youe dog(s) on your wedding day at the event.
Just watering plants
I can put in to your home to water the plants and flowers in the garden. I can ioen or closed the curtians and take away post from the front door.
Hoilday cover for other dog walkers/pet sitters
I can come and walk your dog(s) or doing any pet sitting jobs whilst your usual dog walker/pet sitter is unable to maybe if they are away on hoilday/have an appointment or are poorly etc..
