The best catering company in the business! We came across Three Gents at a wedding fair and were drawn in by their delicious cocktails and expansive food variations. We decided to book a tasting session and from that point onwards we knew this was the only choice. The whole process was extremely professional and tailored to our requirements, the tasting itself was hosted in our home which helped create a very relaxed feel, and we were able to just put our feet up whilst Matt cooked up a concoction of delicious samples in our kitchen and Ant transformed the dining area to give a sense of how things could be presented on the day. We were extremely impressed with the attention to detail and the subtle but effective inclusions around the room. The food itself was second to none, and having Matt guide us through each of the dishes or suitable alternatives gave us everything we needed to make the final decision. The thing that really separates Three Gents apart from the competition are the gents themselves. Two contrasting but equally brilliant characters, Matt the head chef is very serious when it comes to his food, he uses carefully selected ingredients, takes his time to explain how things have been constructed, has an obvious passion about everything he produces and really makes the effort to ensure it works for you and your guests. He’s also an email pro and responds to everything in double quick time! Ant is the front of house master, he brings all the energy and enthusiasm you’d want from the person leading and coordinating the effort on the floor. He’s an incredibly easy person to engage with and, as with Matt, has an obvious passion for his work and holds himself to the highest of professional standards. The gents were brilliant in the build up to the wedding, really clear communications on what was needed by when, liaised with the venue & other suppliers without any issues, always gave us the sense everything was well under control and created a stress-free environment. The wedding day itself was no different, Ant and his team on the floor were the best I’ve seen in operation, it was evident from the off that they were a very experienced, tight knit unit that just transitioned through the day with zero disruption. The turnaround of the room throughout different parts of the day, the serving of the food, the clearing of the tables and the genuine attentiveness to each of the tables was brilliant. Every member of the team is an absolute credit to the company, all genuine, fantastic people that brought a positive vibe and made the day all the more enjoyable. Matt of course did not disappoint with the food throughout the day either, we already knew from the tasting to expect good things, but we can safely say the quality did not drop at all when produced on a much larger scale. Well, what can I write here that does the wonderful Matt and Ant justice! Hire them for your wedding. Seriously. They are a DREAM. We hired them for ours and it has been a brilliant year of working with them. The tasting they did for us was amazing, they are quick to respond with emails, and they have loads of experience to share with you about weddings, timings, what works well etc. Matt, Ant and their staff are brilliant. Ant dancing away at the end of the night will be one of my favorite memories of my wedding day and also seeing Matt pop his head out with his big apron on when I was arriving to make sure he could say hello. People have been raving about the food. Some comments I’ve had via calls or texts: 1. Saw it was bruschetta and thought had this at a wedding 2 weeks ago where it was awful and started getting worried. Not the case here, I’ve gone home craving it. Smashed it 2. The main food was some of the best grub I've had at a wedding! 3. That’s the most canapés I’ve ever eaten at a wedding and leaving the table out was inspired 4. The staff were amazing. You normally go to a wedding and they only care about the bride and groom but the staff here cared about looking after us and were a real laugh. They blended right in and felt like guests 5. The canapés were to die for, especially the mushroom arancini. The caterers were so lovely and also funny. 6. Ant (Caterer maybe??) was lovely - had a chat at the end outside and he’s an absolute legend 7. Bar worked amazingly. Espresso martinis were an absolute hit. They go above and beyond, it isn't just about the food - Ant helped us with all the decor, which was a real help. He dressed all the tables, did the placecards, and helped with things that were not even table related, like our signing table. Both Matt and Ant came to our venue the night before. They did menus for our tables too and left us a canape each to make sure we had tried everything. Hiring them meant it was all just one less thing for us to think about on so many fronts. It was all just so lovely and a wonderful experience. Everyone says you don't get to eat at weddings but trust me, we did because we knew how good it was going to be. My only regret is I did not eat more of the pudding. The Pantone bread and butter Matt does is to die for. My family are Italian and they only had positive things to say - my italian uncle is also a chef so that says a lot about what a smashing job they did. 3Gents catered our London wedding last month and made the entire process not only so easy but an absolute pleasure. The communication throughout the process was phenomenal, the care and craft that went into every detail was of the highest quality, the staff on the day were the loveliest of people and every single person went above and beyond to make the day everything it could be. They handled everything from canapés through to the evening food and all the table dressing on the day and did so with an abundance of skill and attention to detail, everything looked beautiful and really fit the theme and vibe of the day. They really made sure to make the event fit us as a couple, rather than simply providing a blanket offering. The food was absolutely incredible - it's been three weeks since the wedding and we are still getting compliments from our guests. Everything was delicious and they took into account every single dietary requirement, making everyone feel included and well provided for. They took into account all of our requests and made it all better than we could ever have hoped for (the evening hot dogs were a huge hit!). We had a sharing table which allowed for a more relaxed and comfortable environment, whilst having more than enough food for everybody. I was asked to arrange an informal late afternoon/early evening networking event in Central London at our offices there and having never organised such an event before, I thought I had better do some research. We had the space (a combination of open plan areas and meeting rooms) but clearly we would need to provide food and drink. Having explored the option of high-end supermarket party-platters I recognised that to go down that route would be a logistical nightmare and so I checked out some external caterers. Three Gents Event Catering stood out as seemed to have pretty good reviews and so I submitted an enquiry. A short time later, Matt (one of the three gents) phoned and outlined what his company could offer. I was already impressed before we even started discussing menu options and to be honest, the idea of full service catering on site definitely appealed. And so it was an easy decision to make. Over the next few weeks, communication was friendly, efficient and polite and at no stage did I have any concern over the likely success of the event itself. They clearly have a passion for creating top quality food and for ensuring that their customer's event runs smoothly. On the day itself, the team arrived when they said they would and set about bringing everything into the offices and setting up. The food looked absolutely incredible and my goodness, it tasted even better. At this point I should declare that we have only the most rudimentary kitchen in our London office (so no cooker – just microwave and sink and kettles) but this did not phase Three Gents. They are extremely adaptable and have their own equipment. The waiting service they provided struck the perfect balance of being attentive but not intrusive and I know from the feedback I have already received that the guests were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and drink and of the way in which the catering team looked after them. When it came to the end of the event, the team had already found plates from our office kitchen on which to plate up the leftovers and popped them in the fridge. I can testify that staff who were not involved in the event but who came to work the next day were delighted! The gang not only tidied everything up, but wiped down tables and literally left nothing for the cleaners to do. I had already had very high expectations of the quality of the catering but Matt and his team exceeded them. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else and will certainly get them in again if we have any similar events in future. We had the Three Gents providing the catering for my daughters wedding in our garden at home at the end of May. I cannot recommend them too highly and quite honestly following the difficult past year due to the Covid lockdown I don’t think we could have done it without them We first contacted Matt when there was still uncertainty about whether weddings for 30 would be allowed to go ahead in May and we were unsure how we might be able to make this Covid safe at home. He responded immediately and was so helpful, knowledgable and reassuring that we were given the confidence to go ahead. We selected the Grazing Table and a selection of hot and cold canapés all of which were absolutely delicious and included a good selection of vegan and vegetarian options which we needed. What inspired you to start your own business?
The gents had always wanted to work together in a way which maximised our creativity potential as a team. Owning our own company has given us the opportunity to do that whilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have a evolving Covid 19 policy that we review as gov.uk guidance dictates.

Antony has a background in creative visual merchandising. Designing and installing window and in-store treatments for some of the biggest retail brands on the high street. These skills transfer over to when we design and dress events for clients with visual led briefs. If Ant can't make it, he'll be able to source it.
