What do you love most about your job?
All of it. Today I spent soaked, non stop rain. My first visit was to a potential new client that wants her horse bought in each afternoon and tucked away. (We help with all pets, not just dogs) I spent 2 hours helping the girls dig out a pathway, for fun! I was given a pink shovel and wheel barrow to use which definitely made me giggle, and we got the horses out. The mud went over the top of my walking boots, and we were all filthy but I can honestly say I loved it! I had 2 solo dog walks after that, both cheeky little characters that currently need some 1-2-1 attention. I really cant think of a better way to be spending my time!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have spent 20+ years in an office environment, juggling work & family commitments as well as providing the best care possible for my own dogs . I've always had and enjoyed animals in my life but never a dog quite like my GSD Jazz. To say she has special needs is an understatement, bless her, and for the past 5 years she has caused me to be in contact with a multitude of Vets, Trainers and Behaviorists. They in turn have taught me a tremendous amount increasing my knowledge and awareness. From puppy school through to scent detection workshops, to 1-2-1’s and nasty diseases, I can honestly say I’ve met and learnt from some amazing people. I wanted to join them, expand my knowledge and do something I love as opposed to just something to pay the bills.

I am very conscious that it requires a great deal of trust to put your pets into someone else’s hands, for however short a period. I've had to do it myself and the relief of finding someone I trust to take care of my slightly loony dog was immense and hard earned.
I know its said all the time but I will never under estimate the responsibility and trust that is placed in me and I will treat your furry family as my own.

With Woofy Walkers pet taxi service you can relax – let us take them for you.
We have a safe and secure van with individual crates to allow your pet to travel in safety and comfort!
We can take your pets to:
Vets appointments
Grooming appointments
Doggie day care
…. and anywhere else you require!
Dog Walking
We like keeping our walks varied, therefore we cover a lot of different walking areas so the dogs are visually stimulated by their surroundings and have new smells to explore.
We also pick up after your dog using biodegradable bags, ensure water is available whilst walking and towel clean coats and paws before returning them home.
We understand that individual dogs have different needs – we are therefore more than happy to discuss and consider dogs with issues that perhaps require special consideration. We are comfortable walking both large and small dogs.
Group Walks are carefully put together, small groups that enjoy being together.
Pet Sitting
Are you going away on holiday or having to spend a few days away with work or visiting friends and relatives for the weekend? I can look after your pet in your own home while you are away.
A pet can often be unhappy when it is put into kennels or taken away for any length of time from its usual home environment. I offer care for pets that prefer to stay in their own home while you are away.
