We chose Redline DJ’s, specifically Jon, to play a DJ set for our wedding so we could dance the night away with our closest friends and family. Jon made us feel comfortable and trusting from the start with his professional, humour, and passion for DJ’ing eclectic musical events. He absolutely delivered!! We felt empowered to choose the music we really wanted to hear on our wedding night, while giving Jon creative space to add songs he felt would work well and order the tracks in an evolving way. Because of the order Jon played we had all of our older (and younger) guests straight on the dance floor for 80s disco music, then later on the later pop and dance tracks kept all of the younger guests partying away. It couldn’t have been better. Jon also introduced our first dance, gathering the guests to join in after a cue (his idea). We really couldn’t have had a more seamless experience and it was thanks to his experience and intuition. Finally, another reason we went with Redline was their professional approach to the organisation of an event, ensuring multiple DJs were available to play your event in the event your elected couldn’t make it from an emergency. We were lucky enough to have Jon from Redline DJs at our wedding last weekend and it couldn’t have gone better. Jon helped us curate the most perfect playlist for us and for our guests keeping the dance floor alive all night. As soon as we had our first meeting with Jon it was clear we had made the right choice, Jon was always on hand to ask questions & bounce ideas off - no matter how crazy they were! What do you love most about your job?
Music is my world and I consider myself incredibly lucky to be making a living from that passion.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I spent many years working within various different areas of the music industry but DJing is where my passion truly lies. I started RedLine after listening to a particularly bad wedding DJ and decided that I’d had enough of going to events where the entire day was ruined by low quality entertainment. The cheesy wedding DJ is an enduring fixture at Weddings, Christmas Parties and Birthdays but I am on a mission to ensure that those kinds of DJs are consigned to the past.

We are perfectionists when it comes to compiling setlists, reading the dancefloor and making sure that the right song is mixed and played at exactly the right time.
