This was the second time we used Lords for a major job at our property, and we have no regrets! Although weather made it difficult, they moved heaven and earth to get the job done on time (i. e. Christmas Eve!). On this occasion, they did four bits of connected work for us. First they re-clad a sad-looking dormer, and sorted our our ridges, verges and gutters. Then they took a complicated patio and steps in real disrepair right back to the basics and re-created it superbly, as well as re-laying the drive in a resin-bound finish. In the process, they re-routed the water drainage and fixed a long-standing problem. To say it has transformed the exterior of the property is an understatement. We hired Lords last year to do work on our roof and guttering. The roof work they may have done well - and I thought they had at the time - but I'm beginning to have doubts due to the guttering situation. The work was done in April 2022. The guttering on the corner was repaired minus the downpipe because they stated we didn't really need it. Other needed repairs to the guttering were clearly not done. Within four months, the guttering on the corner was sagging and then broke off not long after. Despite misgivings we tried to contact them and even offered to pay for remedial work because we're under a lot of stress. They never answered the phone or e-mails despite numerous attempts. We are now trying to get another company to repair their mess - life has been very difficult in the last year or so which is why it has been delayed. Kye and Callum carried out work to replace fascia and soffits over the front window and did an excellent professional job. Work was also done to repair some pointing underneath the window. They arrived on time, took the time to find out exactly what was required and the work was done quickly and efficiently. On a rainy Saturday and with water pouring from the roof and down the bedroom wall, I needed urgent help. Within twenty minutes of a phone call, it arrived, in the form of Matthew. His prompt arrival, his reassuring manner and his professional expertise were exceptional. Fortunately the rain stopped, but Matthew didn't. Excellent service from start to finish. We contacted various companies, some either didn't reply or did not turn up for appointments booked without a call. This was not the case with LORD Roofing, they attended any appointments made and provided us with all the relevant information in a pack, so we could carry out our research. They then provided us with a quote and backed up in an email. We decided to go with LORD roofing they were professional from start to finish. They guys that actually carried out the stripping of our old roof to replacing of the new roof over 3 days, Andy ,Kev Paddy, and Michael never stopped from start to finish and worked very proffesionaly and cleaned up at the end of each shift. Absolutely do not use this company, charged over the top for a upvc door. Then it has been fitted badly even though they've been out. Still doesn't fit. I paid for a lintel that was never fitted. And have still not been paid back. The owner and manger do not care once they've got your money. They are horrible to deal with if something goes wrong. As an addition to this lords roofing installed a new Welsh slate roof on my new 7.5 m 7.5 m garage I can’t fault the skill and workmanship especially from the roofer Mathew Ellis who hardly stopped in extreme heat and the team who worked hard to get it finished in time. It’s rained heavily since the installation and is bone dry underneath Gutters and soffits are fitted to a high standard with quality fittings I can’t recommend them enough had some emergency work done on my roof ridge tiles damaged. Even though lord roofing were extremely busy dealing with major storm damage for other customers Mathew the regional manager got me a slot and despite all this and scheduled in my work I have to say that I was so impressed with the professionalism and friendly team that completed my work to a excellent standard Paul and Chris who fitted the ridge tiles for me on time and very tidy job they completed the work in a courteous and professional manner that put my mind at rest. I was getting my guttering entirely replaced and a few bits to go with it around my new house and when they arrived and started the team let me know immediately about the state of my roof which was way overdue replacing. I was able to contact the managing director who swiftly came out to inspect it himself and draw up plans to replace my whole roof with a new quoted price if I chose to. I couldn't be happier with the work they did and the team who did it, they were extremely friendly, fast, tidy and professional throughout. He spent a lot of time with us, talking us through the details and answering all our questions, and gave a very competitive quote. Truely Sent by Angels. My bathroom/back bedroom flat roof blew off recently in severe winds over the roof ridge and landed on my patio late at night. The next day I rang a number of roofing companies with no luck. I was so disheartened, I prayed to the Angels to find me someone. The next company I rang was Lord Roofing who rescheduled their diary to send someone out the following day and within a week my roof was completed, despite a member of the original team testing positive for Covid. They even found someone to help with my insurance claim which had been turned down. Their price was very good value and if anything goes wrong, they have their own insurance arrangements to cover it. Quoted a reasonable price for rendering the house and we’re given the go-ahead. The workmen arrived on time but the quality of their work was worse than poor. Tried to contact the office numerous times but the person we needed to speak was never available. Went to the premises and, even though his car was parked in their car park, we were still constantly told he wasn’t in. Eventually he came to view the poor quality of the work carried out by their workmen. We were told that they were having to re-do all the jobs carried out by this crew and that they had 2 other jobs ahead of us. 3 years on they still haven’t been to correct their shoddy workmanship and haven’t been heard from either. We approached Lords following a roof flood and a bad experience from a previous roofing company (new roof in 2021 leaked) very apprehensive due to our previous experience. Lords are very professional and fully explained everything to us. Gave us written quotes and paperwork to show the details and a pack with their qualificationsWhat a great team. Paul came out originally and explained everything. James supported us on a weekend after a heavy rain and had someone come to put a temp fix on roof for us. Matthew came to go through contract prior to work and then quality checked works after.
