We had a leak around a pipe in a large flat roof and Lord Roofing provided a detailed survey and competitive quote. The whole roof needed to be replaced as it was very old and Lord Roofing did an excellent job, complete with boxing in the waste pipe. I had my roof replaced and insulated (which was very pricey) as the loft room was extremely cold in winter and hot in summer. Unfortunately nothing has changed, it's still freezing and my gas bill hasn't reduced. I've contacted them several times and each time I was told someone would get back to me, which they didn't do. The last time was over a week ago and I'm still waiting. The insulation clearly is inadequate. There were also other issues which I won't go into. When the work was finished there were 2 large crates of tiles left over, which I had paid for. I was not reimbursed for them. I wonder how a company with so much experience can overestimate the materials required? I now wonder was it intentional? I am disappointed and embarrassed and would not recommend them. More...

Matthew had organised, quoted and ran the project for a new slate roof with insulation, he made everything easy to understand and saved me a bit of cash with a returner discount. We were very happy with the works completed by Lord Roofing and Groundworks on our property. The project was ably managed by Matthew, the dismantling and rebuilding of our two chimney stacks above the roofline and inside the loft was expertly undertaken and completed by Gary (Gaz), the finishing to the roofworks and flashing was expertly completed by Matty and his roofing team, and each day the jobsite was cleared of rubble and debris. We have had a problem with our rather large outdoor barbecue and dining area which was covered over 7 years ago with plastic sheeting. I have had several problems with a roof on my house built in 1963. Some were caused by slipped tiles, some by the failed inting on the ridge tiles others by pointing failures on the chimney. But the worst was the failure of the flashing on Velux windows installed about 12 years ago. After several attempts to get local builders to fix the problems, most of whom would not even consider fixing the problems and those that did inspired no confidence. He provided us with an informative folder which included everything we needed to know including certificates of their business and there was no pressure to commit. This was the second time we used Lords for a major job at our property, and we have no regrets! Although weather made it difficult, they moved heaven and earth to get the job done on time (i. e. Christmas Eve!). On this occasion, they did four bits of connected work for us. First they re-clad a sad-looking dormer, and sorted our our ridges, verges and gutters. Then they took a complicated patio and steps in real disrepair right back to the basics and re-created it superbly, as well as re-laying the drive in a resin-bound finish. In the process, they re-routed the water drainage and fixed a long-standing problem. To say it has transformed the exterior of the property is an understatement. We hired Lords last year to do work on our roof and guttering. The roof work they may have done well - and I thought they had at the time - but I'm beginning to have doubts due to the guttering situation. The work was done in April 2022. The guttering on the corner was repaired minus the downpipe because they stated we didn't really need it. Other needed repairs to the guttering were clearly not done. Within four months, the guttering on the corner was sagging and then broke off not long after. Despite misgivings we tried to contact them and even offered to pay for remedial work because we're under a lot of stress. They never answered the phone or e-mails despite numerous attempts. We are now trying to get another company to repair their mess - life has been very difficult in the last year or so which is why it has been delayed. I wasn't going to leave a complaint but I finally decided they should not get away with this. More...

Excellent service from start to finish. We contacted various companies, some either didn't reply or did not turn up for appointments booked without a call. This was not the case with LORD Roofing, they attended any appointments made and provided us with all the relevant information in a pack, so we could carry out our research. They then provided us with a quote and backed up in an email. We decided to go with LORD roofing they were professional from start to finish. They guys that actually carried out the stripping of our old roof to replacing of the new roof over 3 days, Andy ,Kev Paddy, and Michael never stopped from start to finish and worked very proffesionaly and cleaned up at the end of each shift.
