I LOVE THIS PLACE!This review won't even do it justice to express how much I love coming to Catalyst Fitness. Part of me doesn't even want to write this review because I don't want let the secret out, but I'd be doing Spokanites a disservice if I didn't.I've done spin classes, step classes, barre classes, crossfit, etc., and nothing has fit me better than Catalyst's small group training class. The max amount of people is 8, so it fits my comfort zone, perfectly. I get that 1:1 attention from the trainer without having to go to personal training. However, I mix that in, too. Last year, I let myself go, and I needed a place to get me back on track. THIS is that place! The icing on the cake is that Matt, and the other trainers are so welcoming and friendly. Plus, they give me free chilled water and towels, and I can use their cardio equipment anytime. WIN!If you're tired of big workout classes, but still want that 1:1 attention from a trainer - this is the class for you. I am SO glad that I took that first step to get a consultation. They've changed my life for the better, and I hope (from this review) others take advantage of that. You're really missing out if you don't.

Hello! My name is Michael Bagby and I am a licensed orthopedic physical therapist. I provide a holistic approach to lifestyle design and physical rehabilitation. I also create long-term exercise and wellness plans to help my clients achieve their health goals. Understanding our mind and body allows us to take the greatest steps in healing and being well. Therefore, educating my patients about their bodies and teaching them to be preventative is always my goal. I was trained in orthopedics and manual therapy with a background in team sports and hi-intensity interval training (HIIT). I teach clients to be mindful and stay in the moment. This skill helps understand mind-body relationships which are much more profound than most people think. A balance of being active, eating healthy, keeping regular social strucures and finding stimulating past times is the best formula for a well-rounded life. I have a treatment table, some basic exercise equipment and will travel to my clients. Everything I do is individualized exactly for what each client needs. I wanted to give the care I thought people deserved. I worked in an outpatient clinic for three years. In that setting it often felt like a a game to see what you could get insurance to pay for. I wanted to just do my job in the way that was best for my patients and with the strict insurance plans, there were times I felt like I couldn’t. This pushed me out of the clinic towards a more mobile-style of therapy that is more holistic and complete in regards to total wellness. I can spend more time and provide a more complete service with each person. With mobile communication ever-improving, I think we are transitioning back to the concierge-type of medical services and I believe that people who often work from home anyway will see the value of a provider coming to them. Not only is it more convenient but people often function better in their homes or offices where they feel more comfortable than being in a medical facility.
I am honest and transparent with your health. I always aim to educate and improve understanding. I complete full physical evaluations as a trained orthopedic physical therapist with sound, simple advice to improve physical ailments. Everything I do including deciding treatment locations, length and frequency of each session, home exercises, lifestyle design, etc. is completely individualized and relevant to you based on my evaluation.
