Training with Joan has been a lift altering experience. I approached her with a lot of hesitancy as I haven't had the greatest of experiences with trainers in the past. They were inattentive, under-educated and generally didn't care about my well-being as much as I thought they would. The day we meet, she spent 90 minutes just getting to know, figuring out what I need, getting all the possible data she would need to actually help me. I immediately felt comfortable and safe in her hands. She was warm, told me stories that were real and genuine, she talked to me like we hadn't just met, it felt like I was in the right hands, despite my hesitancy.
Now after a year together ,she asked me for a review, so here I am, giving my honest opinion that almost anything you could need or want, she can give. She's wildly intelligent, has a million tricks up her sleeve, is a VERY good teacher and actually explains things in ways my non-fitness oriented mind totally understands. She helped me find my strength, got me out of the weird aches and pains I had that NO physical therapist could figure out.
