‘19 Certificate of Excellence

I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist with Counselling skills and a registered member of the National Hypnotherapy Society. I am a Reiki Master Teacher in the Holy Fire III Usui system of natural healing. Welcoming, professional, confidential and safe, I offer fleixible, bespoke treatment plans to gently change your world. Whether you come to my practice or I visit you, I offer you a safe environment where you can be free to speak without fear of judgement or repercussion. My treatment plans are completely flexible and bespoke to each of my client's needs. I don't believe in quick fixes, my philosophy is that we need to learn to listen to and respect ourselves in order to make realistic, positive and lasting changes in our lives. All our behaviours are stored in our sub conscious and so Hypnotherapy is the most effective way of accessing the sub conscious to begin the process of making those positive changes. A Hypnotherapy session with me allows you time to talk and be heard so that we can gently and at your pace, find the root of your problems and work to find ways to help you change and cope better through personalised scripts and guided hypnotherapy with positive personalised suggestions direct to your subconscious. It is completely safe and can be likened to day dreaming. Reiki is a wonderful healing energy which feels like a glowing radiance flowing through your body, giving deep relaxation. Reiki is wonderfully uplifting in times of stress and anxiety, grief and depression and can help ease pain, reduce tension, aid sleep, restore and balance and re energise. My clients and I work together to ensure the best possible outcomes and benefits from the therapies. Most of my clients choose to have both Hypnotherapy and Reiki combined to maximise the cathartic healing quality of these gentle holistic therapies.

What do you love most about your job?

It is so rewarding to see my clients at the end of a therapy session with me with more clarity, strength, freedom and inner peace; to know that they are being heard and learning to care about themselves and be able to deal with the problems life gives them in a more positive way.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have always been someone people have found it easy to talk to and be with so I completed my Hypnotherapy training and attuned to Reiki Level 2 so that I could create my own unique therapeutic business which would offer people the opportunity to have individually tailored therapy to make the changes they need to make in a flexible and gentle way with enduring positive changes as the main aim.

Why should our clients choose you?

You are an individual and I will treat you gently and with the respect you deserve. Remember you are not broken, you probably just need to be heard and listened to perhaps for the first time in your life. If you are looking for help this means you are ready for it and you should be very proud as this is a brave thing to do, it is just a case of finding the right therapist to help you.
My treatment plans are completely flexible and tailored to your very specific needs. Together we build a trusting relationship so that you can allow yourself to find the sources of your problems , find new perspectives, to let go of past traumas and to change your life, realistically and positively.
You are always in control and we set the pace to suit you best, whether you struggle with low self esteem, stress and anxiety, fears and phobias, chronic pain or habits and behaviours like smoking or over eating for example, that you want to quit, I can help you to change your life for the better for ever.

Hypnotherapy FAQs

This will vary according to the level of experience and training that the hypnotherapist holds.

Your professional hypnotherapist will be able to advise you on the full range of therapies available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted hypnotherapist today.

Firstly, you'll have a conversation with your therapist to discuss what you hope to achieve and agree on what methods your therapist will use. Afterwards, the hypnotherapist may lead you into a deeply relaxed state using agreed methods to help you towards your goals. For example, suggesting that you don't want to carry out a certain habit gradually bring you out of the trance.

You are fully in control when under hypnosis and don't have to take on the therapist's suggestions if you don't want to. If necessary, you can bring yourself out of the hypnotic state. Most people expect to be put to sleep or to forget what happened afterwards but the opposite is true. You're fully aware the whole time of what is happening.

This is dependent on both your hypnotherapist and your circumstances. One-off services such as smoking cessation or gastric band hypnotherapy can last around two hours, while a general hypnotherapy session will usually take about an hour.

The duration of therapy will really be dependent on your circumstances and issues. Some people may require a longer-term approach with regular weekly sessions. Your hypnotherapist will let you know how many sessions they feel you might need when you start therapy and will be flexible when it comes to decreasing or extending the number of sessions according to your progress and needs.

There are currently no guidelines in place stipulating the training and qualifications a hypnotherapist must have in order to practice. Industry guidelines recommend that individuals should have completed at least an appropriate diploma or have completed a course that involved a minimum of 450 learning hours, of which 120 hours must have been face-to-face.

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and Bark can show you reviews from past customers who have used their hypnotherapy services.

Hypnotherapy has repeatedly and consistently helped patients with a whole host of issues. It can help with anxiety, depression, anxiety, PTSD, obesity, addictions, fear of flying, public speaking, stopping smoking, insomnia, weight loss amongst others. When combined with methods such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), valuable healing work can begin as quickly as one or two sessions.

You might be surprised to hear that hypnotherapy can be delivered remotely over the phone, through an online video chat platform, or with pre-recorded sessions sent by email.
