I had an individual intake session with my trainer which was customized to help me with my specific needs. It was upbeat, challenging and motivating. A pregnant woman (who was in great shape) was having a regular individual session at the same time and one thing became clearly obvious to me. If I was committed, The Jym would be dedicated to helping me achieve optimal condition...
This program will not work for me at present because I need childcare for my two younger kiddos while working out.
However, I do recommend these experts... Especially if you are looking for a no nonsense and a good vibe at a place where you can achieve and maintain optimal conditioning!

Best gym I've been a member of. I've been a member at mostly larger gyms all over the country in the past, but decided to look at Trophy when I moved to Dallas. I typically utilize free weights and treadmills. I was slightly concerned that this gym was smaller at first, but don't let this keep you away. It's a very personable gym with plenty of room. It's never overly packed and I never had issues waiting for weights/squat rack. The staff and trainers here are fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and always ready to help out. This gym is kept extremely clean all of the time. Most of the time you will feel like the only person working out here. That is how well you are treated. Do yourself a favor and join here!

I am so glad I signed up. I have been going for about 2 weeks and I love it. I get an entire workout in about 30 minutes. The trainers are awesome and really help you stay motivated. Coach Kenneth definitely has become a positive influence on my training! I started about 3 weeks ago and am completely addicted to this workout program. Our youngest son was born with a metabolic condition and cannot fast! If he were to get the stomach bug or flu, we go straight to the hospital and they start an IV! Thankfully we haven’t had to experience that but I’m hesitant to take him to a gym daycare! Fit 4 mom is perfect for us because I can take him with me and he enjoys it! It gets us out of the house and allows us to meet some new friends! The instructors are incredibly sweet and have children of their own! I see this becoming a part of our daily routine well into the future! It’s pretty fantastic!

The Firm Cardio Studio is a unique concept small group fitness studio. Small classes allow trainers to better assists clients. Unique classes not found elsewhere make exercise fun.
Love the Spin class and simulation. Not like a regular cycling class where you're staring at a mirror. You're watching a simulation of riding in the mountains (or other scenery) while you ride, but it is also instructor led. You see your bike on the screen, which moves at the pace you're riding.. Which makes this studio also visually engaging. She can set you up where you get an email summary on your ride performance, as well as a website where you can see your trends over time. Gretchen (the owner, who also instructs some classes) is awesome, I tease her all the time and tell her she's crazy because she gives you a challenging and fun workout. She's very personable and has great tips for new and experienced riders. There are two bathrooms with showers, and I always have fun! For folks who have kids, she even has a kids room in the back with some toys available.

This place is great. I have tried all the big box places, the local gyms...tried it all. But this place is different--in a very good way. The workouts are fast paced and focused. Erik has a plan everyday to maximize the time spent there. The other people working out are friendly and are similarly focused on getting results but not spending hours in a gym. I really like the early morning workout. It allows me to get my day started out right. Also, Erik sends out very informative emails with tips on how to gain (and maintain) a healthy lifestyle. Thumbs up for this place.

Yesterday I graduated from hanging on to the wall to actually walking outside. Eventually I will get to the aerobics part. I'm addicted and can't wait until tomorrow's class!
I’ve been at CEFC for a few months now. Learning to fence has been a fun experience. I definitely enjoy the sport, but the best part of this studio is hands down the people in it. It’s a safe harbor with a diverse crowd of good hearted people and excellent fencers. :)
If you want to lose weight and/or learn how to defend yourself this is the place to go. These people know how to push you to be your best self in every aspect. They even allow me to bring my 3 year old while I’m working out. And if she acts up they’ll tell her something. Which is great, because half the time she isn’t listening to me. But now she’s learned a bit of respect because of them.
Jody is the absolute best!!! I am so glad we found him. I don't even know where to begin other than to say he has helped me a ton on many different levels. I am a Volleyball athlete so working on foot work and increasing my vertical and stamina is crucial for me and Jody has helped me improve in all areas. Jeff is an amazing trainer. He took me on after my accident and taught me how to walk again. Taught me the world of fitness. Taught me how to eat clean. He is in my view the best trainer in Texas. I tore my meniscus in late April. I had to go through an Obama care doctor and did not receive clearance for MRI for 2 months. I had surgery to have 50% of my meniscus taken out late June. I then waited for 3 weeks to start my rehabilitation. I met Jonathan at lunch one day ...scheduled service started immediately. We began with two appointments for the first 2 weeks and one appointment for the next 3 weeks I could not be more happy with the outcome. Jonathan literally taught me how to walk again. I cannot thank him enough has given me exercises to continue to build strength. I'm now playing golf back at 100% RPM Saved the Day. I would refer anyone and everyone to get their rehabilitation from RPM.

Lacey is amazing and the reason I keep coming back. I feel so much better physically and emotionally with her training plan! We love Gracie One! Our 5 year old did a trial class, and we immediately enrolled. The instructors are great with the kiddos. He usually gets bored with the classes we enroll him in, and we struggle making it through whatever the timeframe commitment is. This one is different. He’s always excited to go, and is disappointed if we can’t fit in a class or two each week.
In my short time being there I have enjoyed every minute of being there. The amount of time that Grand Master Valian and Mr. Boraire puts in his students on not only to be great martial artist but to become better human beings is outstanding! I highly recommend anyone to come and have a class and see what's the buzz is about.

Facebook wants me to share my experience and I will try to be very unbiased. I returned after months of a couple of surgeries and still recovering to join the 21 day waistline challenge. For the life of me I don’t understand why more people don’t take advantage of such an amazing chance to get your body moving in a structured, positive, family, fun and friendly environment! Coaches work with you on your form, modify moves for your injuries, and push you when then know you want to give up. The cost of the challenge alone more than pays for 2 drop-in bootcamp classes and you had the opportunity to attend over 25 various group classes INCLUDING bootcamp in a three week period! Having to be very cautious on how I move in recovery, I don’t take for granted the fact that I CAN move my body and I’m glad that the instructors at Choice provide a knowledgeable and safe environment for me to do so. Choice is not a gym, it’s a lifestyle! I look forward to the next challenge and in the meantime my fitness journey continues!

After seeing how happy my parents were with the meals I finally asked how affordable it was. I was very surprised to learn eating healthy was possible with my budget. My diet has been garbage since leaving the military and doing jobs that involved long odd hours. I've always been in a struggle with lack of time/money when it came to eating healthy. My idea of "portion control" and "dieting" was skipping meals and eating until I was full. Now though, eating well is affordable and delicious!
I took my first class at YJ last night and it was awesome! Super clean and beautiful facility. Dave is extremely motivating. He took the time to show me and a few others how to perform a few of the exercises without stopping the whole class. Working out with a group is so much better and productive than working out alone in a gym. I will absolutely be back for more!
This isn’t a gym, this is a home, a family, and a commitment to much more than just fitness. TFW stockyards offers a diverse group of awesome coaches that lend every bit of help and information they have to create a better you. They become friends and family and love everything about what they do. When coming into this atmosphere you feel welcomed immediately, they find out your habits and set expectations. You are given a meal plan and have a physical assessment to gauge where you stand with your fitness and physique. Then from there you begin the adventure, and in no time at all you start seeing results that you like. I really wish I would have found this type of place sooner, but I have it now and it’s incomparable to other gyms, you have to just trust it and see for yourself!
I had the pleasure of visiting the Richardson location the last few days. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Every time I take a class I learn a little more. Lauren continued the trend of challenging me in the classes that I participated in the last few days. The clientele was just as great as the staff!
I LOVE FIT4MOM Cedar Hill! So happy I was invited. It has been the greatest motivation and a wonderful kickoff to a healthier me. I love that we get to bring our babies and sing and tickle them, all while getting a really good workout in. What a great idea! As mamas, we have to get creative at times and this is such an amazing way to get/stay fit and still engage our little ones. The community aspect is awesome too. Trying to get in shape, lose weight, be healthier has been a consistent challenge in my life. It requires a great deal of change to shape you into your best self and needless to say, it's difficult. That's a number of bad habits in still trying to unlearn, far too many good habits I'm still struggling to incorporate into my routines. Working with Danielle has made this challenge that much easier. There's no doubt in my mind that she must be one of the greatest trainers I've ever met. She pushes me, past the limit of what I think I'm capable of right up to the limit of what I can actually achieve. She provides a source of stability, and an inspiring example of what you can do if you truly believe mind can conquer matter. But that doesn't encapsulate the essence of what makes her great. It's her faith, not her considerable expertise that raises her above the pack. Danielle has an unwavering belief that I am capable of achieving my goals, of rising to meet my own expectations, even on days that I can't find that faith myself. Changing for the better is hard but working with Danielle makes it that much easier.
I just finished the On-Ramp program, and have to say it was awesome. Wade, Natalie, and their other coaches have a methodical and very thoughtful approach that takes into account your current fitness level, goals, and even nutrition. And mobility – as an almost 35 year old, the focus on mobility is not only awesome but necessary. Great people, atmosphere, and workouts!

Love, love, love Drumba! So much fun, you do not care that you are actually working out. The really cool thing about Drumba is that anyone can do it. I had surgery and two weeks later, I was back to Drumba. Now I have a shredded meniscus and can still workout with Drumba. You can stand or sit while doing Drumba. I have been taking Drumba classes for three years, longest I have ever been able to stick with an exercise plan.

I started with an impinged shoulder that I couldn’t use much coupled with constant pain for about a year, and after a couple of months built up strength and gained full range of motion! I can even do pushups again! He’s a great listener and will hone in on the things you prefer doing while still peppering in the things you need to be doing during your workouts. He also changes up the workouts each time, so there’s no getting bored. Overall, a laid back, humble, pleasant human being who’s great at what he does – my only regret is that I didn’t sign up with Daved sooner!
I have been going to group fx for a little over a month now and have a blast with the few classes I now attend regularly. Bodyattack is extremely fun and helping me cut down on fat while I hit the gym up for strength Jennifer is great at switching things up to keep you on your toes!. Zumba on Thursdays and Fridays are great. Teaching me how to dance a little while working out! Haven't met Adriana yet but Erika is awesome and great with increasing motivation.
My son recently started working with Kendrique at Coats Performance. The sessions are always positive, informative & motivating!! Kendrique is approachable & genuinely interested in getting to know each athlete. We would recommend him to any athlete. So glad to be training with him!!
Visiting from NYC and everyone is so so nice and accomodating. They even gave me great food recs around here and Austin. What a great bunch of folks. Coach is wonderful and has invested in nice equipment--including a dry sauna and leg compression for recovery. Amazing.
Never thought I would actually enjoy having my yearly physical, but everyone at the clinic was so friendly I actually enjoyed the day! Dr Nelson was fantastic. It was great to talk to a doctor who I had confidence in and not to feel rushed. Highly recommend The Cooper Clinic.

SO Nutrition came to our girl scout meeting yesterday and did an amazing job educating our daisy and brownie troops on healthy nutritious choices. The best part was the girls got to sample lots of different fruits and veggies with an array of healthy dip options. SO Nutrition encouraged our girls to reach outside their comfort zone and try new foods and food combinations they had not tried before. It was a great lesson on being adventurous and teaching them healthy eating habits. We have a very energetic bunch of kindergarteners but the interactive presentation engaged them and kept them happily focused and interested in learning! We loved having SO Nutrition at our Girl Scout Meeting. Thank you!

This is a great place for people seeking to get fit, as there are several class types (pilates, TRX, yoga, spinning) and everyone is taught based on their current level of fitness.
Beginners need not fear! Talk to Nicole about what your level is and what you aim to do, and she will give you custom training and recommend which classes with which you should begin. Workouts are effective and fun, with plenty of humor built in. She also offers private lessons and a flexible schedule.
Friendly staff and the class sizes are small, so you get the benefit of individual instruction.
What I also love is that there are classes for kids, so there’s fun fitness for the entire family!
I went to Zen Relax on the recommendation of a friend. My lower back had been bothering me. I went in with no expectations. It was wonderful and healing. I have had a couple of massages in the past but they were more on the order of soothing and relaxing. This was entirely different. It was a healing experience and turned out to be exactly what I needed. I would recommend them unreservedly to any one who is having muscle soreness, or just for anyone who wants a good, whole body massage.
