I’m a Personal Trainer and a Corrective Exercise Specialist with a degree in Exercise and Movement Science. I specialize in functional strength training, nutrition, and deep tissue assisted stretch therapy. I take a holistic approach and consider multiple aspects of your health and wellness. I got into health coaching through my own experience. I know what it’s like to not know where or how to start. I remember being overweight and at risk for diabetes at a young age due to my poor eating habits and lifestyle. In college I weighed my heaviest at 230lbs. Everything changed when I decided to reclaim my health. I realized no one was coming to save me. I started making healthier choices for myself and started moving my body way more. I lost 60 pounds in just 6 months! I’ve made it my mission to help other women, children and men feel better and to reclaim their health as well. Training sessions are 60 minutes long. I offer 1:1 training, Semi-Private/Small Group training (up to 2-4 people) and Online Training plans. I’ve been helping others become healthier versions of themselves for 2 years now. I train clients in a private studio located in the Design District. The studio is exclusive to personal trainers and their clients, meaning everyone in the gym is focused on their own health with their own trainer. The studio has great access from most parts of the city so that you can get to your training session in the midst of your busy schedule. You can see photos of the studio below. Depending on your goals, a session could include any combination of weight training, functional training, and stretch therapy. Your consultation is completely FREE. This will include a tour of the facility, a brief movement assessment and a 15-20 minute conversation about your goals and health history. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

I meet clients where they are. I understand what's needed and expected through building rapport and getting to know you first. I conduct a physical assessment to better understand your current fitness level. From here I design the best program for you that fits your individual goals. I challenge my clients with their workouts while incorprating recovery techniques. So many trainers skip the recovery aspect, and it's just as important as the workout.

You. Your mindset, your thoughts and your actions/behaviors. You get out what you put in. I'm here to help guide and coach you along the way.

What do you love most about your job?

I love being able to connect with my clients. If we're not able to connect we may not work well together. I love being able to help, teach and serve other people in the areas they need it most. This is what I'm passionate about and I don't see myself doing anything else.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have past experience with managing fitness gyms, and it wasn't what I was passionate about. I love connecting with clients and helping them towards their desired goal. As a manager my main goal was taking/giving orders, sales and being behind a desk. I like to be creative, think outside the box and help clients where I can hands on.
