Attended few sessions by Dr. Osar in AFC this year. Excellent stuff and the knowledge I gained there helped me alot. Not only in able to help my clients, it helped my own posture related issues big way! Highly recommended!!

I just finished taking the ICEI exam after an amazing 3 day workshop with Dr Evan Osar and Jenice. The workshop was well organized and the hands on learning was so valuable! My first introduction to Dr. Osar was at SCW Dallas Mania. After sitting through most of his lectures that weekend, I purchased two of his books and immediately began to study these principles. As a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, I am constantly searching for ways to communicate proven, safe and effective changes that can help all my clients move better in their everyday lives. These strategies have astonished my clients! They are moving significantly better, breathing more purposefully and discovering muscles that have been hidden behind poor habits. CrossFit Garland is awesome! I started attending classes at the gym 7 weeks ago as a part of the New You Challenge. This was a six-week program designed to kick start a healthy, fit lifestyle. As a part of the challenge, we were required to attend 3 classes a week and adhere to a Paleo diet. I was nervous to start the program because I had never done anything like it before. I’ve always been more of a studious, artsy person and didn’t have any athletic experience. However, the challenge was one of the best things I have ever done! I have never been muscular or tone, but now I can see muscles on my body that I never thought would exist. I lost weight while gaining lean muscle, and I love the way I feel from exercising and eating better. I can tell a major difference from where I was 7 weeks ago. Not only do I have so much more energy now, but I also learned a lot about myself. I learned not to be afraid of challenges or scared to try new things. Sometimes I can't believe it when I complete a workout. I never would have thought I would be able to do some the routines. By learning that I can overcome challenges, I've grown more confident in myself in all aspects of my life. I feel like I can do more and am motivated to work toward more of my life goals. The coaches at this gym are amazing also and make class really fun. They are all very knowledgable and encouraging but also really funny. All of the workouts are done in a group environment and the other gym members are equally amazing. Everyone is so positive and encouraging. When a workout starts, each person gives it their all and helps everyone in the class do the same. The workouts are very challenging, but not impossible. Every movement has a modification so any person at any fitness level can attend a class and benefit from the experience. After the six-week challenge, I decided to join the gym. Not only was I motivated by my initial physical results, but also the positive growth and self-development that I experienced, knowledgable staff, and friendly environment. I am still fairly new to Crossfit - and this is my first go at this kind of workout/training. The coaches here are all full of knowledge and can identify growth opportunities and they correct your form, as needed. I really love the scalability aspect of Crossfit and the encouragement/motivation from others who may be more experienced. If interested in Crossfit, I recommend this gym! More...

Thank you just doesn't seem enough to say to Robert, Justin, Mark and Chris. I signed up for the 6-Week Challenge sponsored by Crossfit Garland not knowing what to expect other than some pain since I hadn't hit a gym or done any consistent physical activity for over 10 years. Yes, the pain was there! There was also more support than I've ever received from a group of coaches that took on the challenge to help me start down this new path.

After completing the 6-Week Challenge, I was amazed at the changes:
- Down 9 pounds
- I don't wake up with my feet and knees hurting from joint pain
- 10 years of back pain caused by poor health is non-existent
- I have more energy than I've had in years
- I had started using medication at the beginning of 2017 to help with my sleep but now sleep better than I have in years with no medicine to help
- My clothes actually FIT AGAIN!!!

It has not been an easy transformation and it is definitely not the end - just the end of Chapter 1. Excited to be a part of Crossfit Garland and look forward to new goals, achievements and working with a great group of coaches to help me achieve the things that I thought were in the past! Let's see what Chapter 2 looks like!!

I trained 1 on 1 with Robert! I needed to pass a fitness test for college dance team tryouts. He personalized my workouts for what i needed help on and still made it enjoyable! I can’t say enough good things about 3Q Fitness. They are knowledgeable, attentive and dedicated to the health and well being of their clients.
I am a 55 year old woman with weight issues and some physical concerns. I chose Robert to help me get healthy and more mobile because I knew he would consider all these things in formulating a plan.

I've been a member of the CrossFit Garland tribe for 6 + years. During that time I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. (PD). Because of Robert and his staff's sincere interest in my continued fitness, and well-being, the programs have been structured to suit my current abilities. Robert and staff have always been very accommodating , and encouraging as I progress at a pace compatible with the PD. I am certain that without my 2X per week workout, I would not have the physical agility that I have today. Robert and staff are all very knowledgeable, and experienced trainers that - quite honestly- love what they do. Additionally, the gym culture is friendly, and encouraging. I am very grateful to CF Garland for being instrumental in helping me achieve my goal to maintain my physical fitness and stamina with the progression of PD.

Absolutely amazing experience with wonderful trainers and fellow gym mates!! I walked in barely able to lift 10 lbs (it was embarrassing alright haha) and worked up to 3x that in just a month!

You'll definitely get your money's worth! All of the trainers and the owner are truly their to create the best environment. If you're even considering it, just hope in and experience a room full of joy; or at least as much joy as crossfit can bring hahaha.

I've been a member of CrossFit Garland for 1 year now. Not all CrossFits are the same! I tried a different one before and not only got injured repeatedly but I didn't get neither the encouragement and accountability I get at CFG, neither the progress I've had here.

Here's a little before & after comparison on 1 rep max:
Deadlifts: 75lbs --> 195lbs
Overhead Squats 15lbs --> 65lbs
Front Squats 35lbs --> 105lbs
Back Squats 55lbs --> 125lbs
Shoulder Press 35lbs --> 65lbs

About 10 years ago I was working out consistently, and I was a lot stronger that I am today. Unfortunately after being run by a car while crossing the street (in Valencia, Spain), back in 2004 most of my lifts went down the drain. Due to the impact, my hips were off of alignment and I was never able to squat again, nor to deadlift without getting my QL injured.

After the accident I met several trainers but none could help me out to get back to squat or deadlift with good form, so I gave up and quit training.

Meeting Robert Selders changed things dramatically. Robert is not only knowledgeable but most important down to earth and respects his clients, meeting them where we are and understands that not everyone is an elite athlete. Robert has helped me to work over my fear of falling and to correct mistakes that were getting me injured.

The other great addition to CFG is Mitchell Mills. He is also super knowledgeable and I am so lucky to train with him. Mitch coaches the Olympic weight lifting class on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11.30am. He breaks down the technique to a point that it is easy to understand and have significant improvements for heavier lifts. As an example last week we did push press in class and the heaviest I could do was 70lbs, but then two days later thanks to correcting my technique I was able to push press 90lbs... I'm really loving it! So, if you have time to make it to this class, don't miss the opportunity

I've been attending Garland Crossfit for 3 months now. I'm so glad I decided to join and wished I had joined sooner! After getting personal training from local gyms and not seeing results, I was getting very frustrated. I spent so much money on personal training at a local gym and thought I would never see results and I gave up working out. But doing crossfit has opened my eyes! They have workouts that are "real world" movements, not those stupid machines you have at those large "fitness centers" doing movements you will never ever do! In 3 months, my wife has said I look leaner and my shoulders look bigger. I can do pull ups so much easier now, something I havent been able to do since I was a kid!

But what I love the most about Garland Crossfit/3Q fitness is Robert Selders, my coach. He really cares about you and your goals. He has a great relationship with each client and he wants to see you succeed! If you miss a few days he always checks up on you to make sure everything is ok with you. That shows me he cares and that is what sets this studio from the large fitness centers apart. Those large gyms don't care about you, they only care about the money they get and the number of clients they have. I still get calls from Lifetime fitness' sales asking me to come back because they get paid for commission on how many people they sign up.

If you care about your goals, Robert cares too and makes sure you reach your goals. Care for yourself and pay them a visit!
