Excellent experience from first contact onwards 😁 We contacted Rich via the 'BARK.com' platform seeking Buildings Regs drawings, having lost confidence in our original architect who was unable to even get the existing drawings right (! ) during the Planning stage. Rich was quick to respond and professional leading to a quick telephone call to chat things through. It became apparent during that first call that Rich 'got' us and the project, and this feeling was only reinforced when we met on site: Rich took the time to understand what we wanted and run us through the process of the build, speaking to us on an equal basis (rather than down his nose as some architects had, given; the unusual nature of the 'barn' being converted, our 'muddle-through'/DIY approach, our unconventional builder, and our somewhat tight budget!). Plans and revisions have been delivered in a timely and well-managed fashion and Rich has been good enough to recommend people to work with on surveys and engineering, whilst leaving us with the freedom to also get our own quotes and people involved. This has culminated in a drawings pack which is effectively an instruction manual that will enable us to do our conversion, in our own way and timescale, as funds allow, whilst being at the end of the phone for advice.
