Margaret is one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever met. You just can't feel bad about yourself around her; she won't let you. If you come to a class feeling down or in a funk, you won't leave that way. Margaret is a dedicated instructor who I know spends a lot of time outside classes learning and preparing to bring us the latest in her fields and the coolest choreorgaphy. I have learned so much from her in the last few years that I would consider her one of the best instructors I have ever had in any field. I would take any class she offered and recommend her unconditionally. Also, this is an awesome page!

Ultimate Fitness is that local gym that you feel at home in. I know the franchised gyms are more glamorous and commercialized which may be important to some, for me having a good honest workout and actually getting to know who owns the place means more. You never feel like you're a 'membership number' you feel like someone who is valued. Eddie has put his heart and soul into his gym for decades and I think we all appreciate that. It's not easy to stay so dedicated to a small business in a world that moves so fast and the fact that Eddie and Stacey are always looking for creative ways to keep us interested in our workouts is appreciated. Also, did you know that Ultimate Fitness is open 24 hours a day!!!! It is. They even had some classes at their Zone on Thanksgiving morning. That's dedication. Thank you for always staying true to gym life. You guys are a gem.

My doctor recommended PT to me and I said it was a waste of time and money based on all my previous experiences with facilities that the therapists would work with about 3 people at the same time. He said I was not going to the right place and recommended Current. HE WAS SO RIGHT. At Current you get one on one therapy the entire session. When I first started with Current Caroline was my therapist and without about 3 sessions I was able to sleep pain free. I can not rave enough about this facility. It is just too bad they are limited to the my local area and more people can't take advantage of their wondrous work. If you are interested they also have very high tech equipment including a cryotank!

Did you know 60% of women experience ab separation during and after pregnancy that causes the illusion of a “mommy pooch”? Experiencing this myself after having my son, I now pour myself into educating women about postpartum fitness. Hi, I am Delaney and I help women, ages of 21 to 45, lose the “mom pooch” by developing fitness programs tailored to the unique hormonal profiles of women.

If you’re looking for a supportive, friendly and professional training gym experience. You have found it! Mike and Jess are wonderful and highly motivating coaches who care about their clients. The 6 week weight loss challenge was an amazing experience, for me life changing. The meal plan, accountability, training with a team and emotional support from the coaches was impressive. In a busy area like Asbury Park, the biggest benefit is accountability. You aren't just paying for a workout; you're paying for a professional to ensure your form is perfect and your time isn't wasted on exercises that don't work for your body.
A reputable trainer must be certified. Look for certifications from accredited organizations. The most respected in the US are NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), ACE (American Council on Exercise), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), and NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association)—particularly the CSCS for athletes.
To keep costs down, consider small group training. By grabbing a few friends and splitting the session fee, you get expert attention for a fraction of the price. Additionally, ask about 'Commit and Save' deals where buying upfront lowers the per-session rate.

Consistency! Finding what is sustainable for you to stay consistent throughout your life instead of unmanageable goals is the key.
I love seeing the transformation in people, not only in how they look but in their confidence, their strength and ability and how much it opens up their life for them.
I have lived every stage. I was a competitive athlete from a young age. I now have four daughters and have over time sustained injuries from a severe accident. I know the struggle of learning to rebuild yourself, gaining the weight time and again, lifestyles that make getting the workout in feel impossible... but it is possible with the right guidance and knowledge. I specialize in injury rehab and have worked with everyone from professional athletes, to seniors, to moms struggling to find balance in their life again.
Yes! I offer monthly customized programming that can be done in your time. All workouts are tailored to needs and equipment availability (if any) and each exercise has a full description and video. There is also in-app goals, tasks and check-ins to help keep you on track as well as direct messaging to me and you can rate workouts and leave comments so I can continually tailor programming to what works best for you.
