I began attending this gym to build a better body. The spin instructor, Bonnie has been crucial in my development through a very difficult time in my life. She was there to inspire, mentor me, and keep me going if I had a bad day. Awesome attributes for a teacher. I also met Stacy and Eddie. Friendly and helpful in every way. Then I started Heat/CrossFit class with Bonnie. Just one more step in making me stronger. Thank you to Bonnie, Stacy and Eddie and helping me find a new gym I love coming to everyday. LOVE THIS GYM!!!!! The owners have gone above beyond to inspire me to reach my personal fitness goals. The facility is great, very clean! The machines are well maintained. This is one of the best gyms I have ever been to (went to many in the past before). I have been a member here for the last 10+ years and can honestly say the staff and community formed by many of the patrons is one of the nicest and friendliest groups you’ll ever meet. The gym owner, Eddie, is always around and easily accessible. Ultimate Fitness is that local gym that you feel at home in. I know the franchised gyms are more glamorous and commercialized which may be important to some, for me having a good honest workout and actually getting to know who owns the place means more. You never feel like you're a 'membership number' you feel like someone who is valued. Eddie has put his heart and soul into his gym for decades and I think we all appreciate that. It's not easy to stay so dedicated to a small business in a world that moves so fast and the fact that Eddie and Stacey are always looking for creative ways to keep us interested in our workouts is appreciated. Eddie is by far the greatest gym owner around. He keeps the place absolutely spotless and it's an enjoyable atmosphere to be in. No one judges you at ultimate based on how you look or how you do your workout. Eddie and Bonnie are awesome as well as the personal trainers. Everyone, staff and owners (Eddie and Stacie), have all been super-friendly and helpful to me since my very first day here. No one is ever judgmental and members are all friendly as well. It is an awesome gym to workout at. Price is affordable and it is 24 hours. Bonnie has awesome classes (Spin and Spin&Pump) that are available. In addition, they provide affordable Personal Training! Pros: 24 hours, great for my work schedule, price isn't terrible, and conveniently located near where I live. Eddie is a really nice guy and very fair.
Excellent customer service.
Cons: This gym is outdated. The equipment is from the stone age and the place itself is in serious need of a facelift.

I went to Monmouth University and always ended up at the chain gyms in the area, missing my local gym at home so much. One day I came across Ultimate Fitness and it seemed all of my prayers had been answered. ..I finally found a gym in Monmouth County where I felt totally comfortable with the staff and the members, never felt judged, and Eddie the owner was friendly and helpful right from day one. When I moved back into the area a year after I graduated, the first thing I did was renew my membership there!
