This can include holiday planning, travel arrangements and facilitation, or accompanying you for part or the whole duration of your holiday whether going alone or with family and friends.

As with all our services the holiday care is bespoke and tailored to your specific individual requirements.

Home is where we belong and want to be. The thought of having to leave can be particularly distressing.

Maplewood Independent Living’s 24 hour live in service means that a specialized support worker can move into your home and provide you with bespoke, tailored support to enable you to remain independent and in the comfort and familiarity of your own home.

We can assist with complex care requirements or just provision of support with everyday housekeeping tasks. We can provide peace of mind to you and your family that someone is there with you as a companion to enable you to remain where you want to be, at home.

Our 24 hour live in support provides you with that personalized service that enables you to stay in your own home and live as you want to live as opposed to care homes where consideration has to be given to the needs of the many. You can continue with your daily routines just as you like and if things change we’ll change with you, meaning you’re always in control.

Our live-in care workers are comprehensively trained and you will be provided with the utmost dignity and respect as we are aware having someone share your home can be difficult at first.

A good night’s sleep is the foundation for the next day and thereafter general long-term well-being.

A lack of sleep also impacts everyone whether it’s you yourself or your immediate and extended family.

Maplewood Independent Living’s night support is a flexible service which can be awake support or sleep on call, which ever suites your requirements. The support can be for you or for your partner/family member so that everyone in the home gets a good night’s sleep.

Respite support may be required for many reasons whether the usual carer has an appointment, illness or holiday, or that as a family member and full time carer, you simply require a break to look after yourself, whether for a few hours or to have a holiday.
