Oh my gosh - where to start! We booked Dave (Disco In Kernow) for our wedding in Bude on the 27th July 24. We had a few emails back and forth and then I finally met the legend on the day before the wedding! Dave completely understood the brief and had us all up dancing.. all night. Absolutely shocking service, dave stopped all contact with me with just days from the wedding he had no first dance song or song choices, I messaged and called several times with no answer, I had to book with another DJ just 5 days from the wedding, you can imagine the stress and upset this caused me and my family. Dave came back 3 days before the wedding to say "sorry" which was NOT acceptable!! You don't leave your clients without a point of contact, disgusted by his response. The shocking service relates to me being unable to reply for a period of 5 days due to taking leave and having no phone signal. I responded immediately on my return to finalise the last details of the event (in 4 days time), to discover the client had decided to cancel outright. A decision to cancel a booking with that short notice would usually incur a 75% fee. I appreciated the client was stressed at not being able to talk to me for 5 days and said she would only lose the deposit on this occasion. Disco in Kernow strives to provide the best possible service at all times which is proven by over 20 years of very satisfied customers. We are sorry that on this occasion the customer felt that 5 days of no communication was enough to cancel the booking. We take exception to her statement that we had this all planned out to ‘run off with her money’ whereas the truth is she has left us out of pocket.

this fabulous company did the disco for our wedding on 12/12 and was absolutely fantastic! our newlywed song choices were both available and catered for and dave had such contagious energy. the first dance was timed perfectly and it was just a beautiful reception which was largely down to disco in kernow, music being so important to us. thankyou soooo much, we can't recommend you enough xx More...

I'm in disbelief how good a night Disco in Kernow put on for our wedding, people could just not stop dancing! I made requests for a wide range of diverse music, to represent the many cultures and tastes of our guests. I gave these guys a few pointers as to what sort of things we like (in our case it ranged from current charts, to afrobeats, Ghanaian music, golden oldies and everything in between), and they built a solid night of music. Dave and his set up that is DISCO IN KERNOW were just the best. He tailor made the evening to suit our celebration and the 150 strong crowd loved it! It was very professional and Dave was great fun. The dance floor was constantly busy for 5 and a half hours! The lighting set up was fantastic and the sound system just perfect.
