RECF makes fitness accessible to anyone, while building an amazing community that makes it fun to work out (really!). Workouts are always something different and challenging - in the right way for each person, for wherever they are on their wellness journey. The coaches creatively help support you through injury recoveries and other hurdles so you don't lose momentum, and always focus on challenging your limits while emphasizing quality and form over faster/heavier/more. And, when you need an extra boost, the personal training options are terrific and a great flexible option!!

What We Do Achieving total body wellness is way more than throwing around iron and sticking to a nutrition plan. True change starts at the core of who YOU are as a person. Our job is to get to know you! It’s a process for our trainers to learn what motivates you, what drives you, what style of training works well for you and most importantly: What will it take to have a lifestyle breakthrough that will last a lifetime?

Neulife Wellness is the best! Jill is so knowledgeable and has created a wonderful, intentional, supportive atmosphere. There’s truly a community feel which I love. I also appreciate that she included a play area for kids as childcare is often a major scheduling obstacle for women. Missy is a bright ray of sunshine; her smile and positive attitude make her classes fun. AJ is fabulous! She clearly knows her stuff and pushes me to get the most of my workout while still being encouraging. I always feel like I’ve had a great workout after her classes. Thank you, Ladies!

Von is a guy that changed my perspective on getting in shape. He tries to understand your body and fitness level to give you a solid personal program to approach your goals. Also he's honest and won't tell you that you can get a six pack in a day, sometimes brutally so. As a person he is very kind and doesn't have an overwhelming or authoritive tone that a lot of trainers seem to have.

I offer in person and online personal training. I also offer nutritional coaching , in person check in's when applicable and maintaining communication 1-2 times a week via phone or text messages. I offer an in person complimentary 30-45 minute consultation assessment in the initial stage as well, Here's what you can expect from that time: A movement screening- I will be looking for any potential imbalances you may have and formulate an individualized fitness plan based on those patterns

Jesse is the best trainer I've ever had! I've had a bunch of trainers over the past decade and a half. None of them have ever been so focused on actually strengthening my body. I've usually been coached to lose weight. I came to Jesse the heaviest I've ever been and with tendinitis in my knees. Jesse gave some very helpful nutrition advice and focused on strengthening my legs correctly. Now I'm running again.

Time. Effort. And Energy. One of Mac's many mantra's! And as your trainer Mac will bring these things along with his expertise and positive energy each and every time. No matter your fitness level Mac will motivate and design a plan to maximize your results and focus your technique. Mac will also coach you so that when you train on your own you can do it with a deeper understanding and knowledge of how your body and muscles work. Where so many trainers attention sprays to their phones or idle chat amongst co workers and members Mac can typically be found buried in a text book studying and working hard for his clients. If you are a weekend warrior like me or a gym rat or have physical limitations Mac is your trainer. I have seen him working with the same energy with clients of all shapes and sizes. Since working with Mac I have seen amazing results and muscles in places ive never had in 30 years LOL. I cant give anyone a stronger recommendation than i would Mac. I have no doubt he would be successful in any field he pursued. Get on his schedule. Take a chance. Bring your time. Energy and effort.

Hello Human! Stay right there, we'll come to you. Save on drive time. No more unused gym memberships. No sweat from the last guy on the machine. We don't talk down to you. We don't judge you. And we don't put your body at risk following cookie-cutter workouts. Our sessions are crafted precisely to your body. And our trainers are top notch. We select only 1 trainer for every 12 applicants. We select for experience, skill, happiness, and humanness. Visit our website or request a bark quote from us. We will respond soon. Ok, ready, set, Bark!
STEP 1 - We match you with a trainer.
We have 15 trainers on our team, each with a different skillset. Our head trainer Amber reviews your history and uses her 18 years of experience to match you with just the right trainer.
STEP 2 - Try a session.
Schedule a session. See if the trainer is a good match for you. If not try someone else.
In some areas we are offering a free session! Let us know your zip code and we'll tell you if you are in one of our free session areas.
STEP 3 - Design a plan.
Make a plan with your trainer. Design your session frequency. Design your workouts with the trainer. Let your trainer develop a plan for you to do on your own. Discuss lifestyle habits. Eating. Sleeping. Stress. Our trainers consider the whole you in developing your plan.
CONSISTENCY
The beautiful thing about in-home training is that you don't have to decide to do it. Your trainer just shows up. Bad weather? Your trainer shows up. Tired? Meh, your trainer shows up. Car broke down? You get the picture...
ACCOUNTABILITY
If we were all saints, we would all do the things we should whether anyone else was keeping track. But, you know, as lovely as you are, you are probably not a saint. There's no shame here. Just knowing that your trainer is showing up tomorrow will help you make good choices.
PROGRESSION
Dreams are built on progression. An expert helps you find a progression that is just right for you. Too slow and you see no progress. Too fast and your body burns right out. It takes experience to find the sweet spot.
I love it most when people write to me with stories like this...
"I can run again without any pain. That, to me, is priceless..."
or this...
"The hour flies by and you don't notice your sore muscles until you leave!"
or this...
"You have brought a new level of joy to my life. I can't wait to see how my body changes even more in the months to come!!"
and especially this...
"The transformation of my body in strength is remarkable. Who knew it would feel so good!! As a bonus, I've lost 30 pounds, my knee no longer hurts and I have Lori in my corner!"
We are blushing already! Thanks you guys.
...don't get me started.
Gyms that hire cheap and dangerous trainers. To-good-to-be-true fitness schemes that keep people locked in a cycle of boom and bust failure. Mean skinny fitness people. Stories of being injured in box gyms. Relatives having their hopes crushed with quick-fix online weight loss schemes.
In a nutshell, Happy Human is a rebellion against a smarmy fitness industry. An industry that puts profits above the well being of it's clients and customers.
Reason numero uno - We are crazy convenient. Skip the gym. Spend more time with your kids. Let us come to you.
Reason numero dos - Our trainers are really good. We spend a ridiculous amount of time finding the best trainers in the area. Because a really good trainer produces 10x the long-term results of a so-so trainer.
Reason numero tres - We won't give you an icky feeling. We aren't going to judge you. We aren't going to sell you weight loss shakes for crying out loud. We aren't going push you to buy more sessions than your budget allows. We aren't going to require you to sign up 5 of your friends.
Reason numero cuatro - We are a local mom-and-pop shop. Proceeds of your investment in your body go to the trainers and to the owners. Nobody is getting rich off this. **Sigh** We do this for other reasons.
Should I work out every day of the week?
It depends on your end goal. If you’re training for a marathon, you might work out nearly every day of the week. If you’re a low-level beginner, a minimum of three times a week is enough to make a noticeable impact. No matter what you’re working out for, everyone needs rest and recovery days. Without them, your muscles won’t be able to recuperate and grow strong, so remember to factor in some down-time, too!
Where can I have my personal training sessions?
Pretty much anywhere! The great thing about personal training is that it’s flexible - as long as you have the necessary equipment, you and your instructor can decide to have your sessions from the gym, your home, the park, or even your office if you want to!
Does my fitness instructor need to know anything about me?
Yes! First of all, they will chat with you about your goals, and discuss the best way to achieve them. They should also ask you to fill in a consent form to check that you don’t have any pre-existing health conditions that could impact your exercise. They’ll also carry out a health assessment to get a better idea of your current fitness level, tailoring your workout plan around that.
What does a standard personal training session involve?
It's tricky to say, as personal training sessions vary significantly depending on what you want to achieve and the type of workout. Generally, one personal training session tends to last forty-five minutes to one hour. It will start with a gentle warm-up, followed by the nitty-gritty of the actual workout, with stretches to end the session. Remember, warming up and stretching is essential for injury prevention - it’s just as important as the main part of the workout!
What qualifications should a personal trainer have?
A personal trainer needs to be clued up on all aspects of fitness, from the most effective exercise techniques to nutrition and human anatomy- that’s a lot of responsibility! You need to make sure your professional is suitably qualified for the job. After all, you shouldn’t cut corners when it comes to investing in your health. Make sure your trainer has the minimum qualifications required to practice. In the UK, this is the Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
Can I get a Personal Trainer online?
Absolutely! Online personal training has become increasingly popular as more people are looking to maintain their fitness during lockdowns and gyms closing. As long as you and your personal trainer have a strong internet connection and a device to stream on like a laptop, tablet or smartphone, there's no reason why your session can't be delivered remotely.
