Joining this team has been the best experience! The coaches and community provide so much support and I have gained so much knowledge on nutrition and fitness that are sustainable for every lifestyle. These girls are experts in their field! I never though it would be possible to reach my health and fitness goals without severely restricting my diet and excessively exercising, but I am so glad I was wrong! This team is incredible. I’ve been part of it for a year and a half so far. I’ve learned so much about nutrition and movement. The community is supportive and I always see new recipes or tips for nutrition. My coach is a registered dietitian and I have learned so much from her. I don’t even consider this program a “diet,” because that’s not even close. I’m learning about nutrition and how food fuels my body. How good is energy, and nothing is off limits - everything in moderation! I am learning the importance of building muscle through strength training. I had never lifted weights like this, and I actually love it! I never would have known without my coach’s plan for me.

The coaches focus on nutrition, mindset, physical, etc. In a different way than most trainers. Before going Jenn Wall’s fitness program, I was doing 45 minutes of cardio 6 days a week and intermittent fasting and I wasn’t losing any weight. I couldn’t understand it. If I was eating less and working out more, I should be losing weight, right? Wrong! I was sabotaging myself and I had no idea. Before working with Emily, I didn’t know what a macro was, let alone what the appropriate amounts would be for me. I realized I was hardly eating any protein and consuming more fat than I should. Before Emily, the most I had ever lifted was 15 lbs and that was for deadlifts years ago. Now, I understand far more about nutrition and am lifting more than ever. Taking 9 cardio classes a week. Eating 1200 calories. Keto. Fasting. You name it, I've tried it. And nothing helped me lose weight. And I am a gym instructor myself, so I really didn't understand what was going on.

Fast forward from then to now. I've been working with Emily for 6 months, and the experience has been amazing. I've been through a restoration phase (I've never eaten this many calories on purpose before!), gained a few pounds of muscle and a bit of fat. My energy and sleep improved. I didn't feel guilty about eating or being hungry!

Now I am in my first cut, and about 2 months in I've dropped 5-ish pounds, my body fat % has gone down a bit, and I've lost centimeters. I'm getting comments on my smaller waist and defined legs. I'm lifting more weight than ever. I am confident at the gym among all the guys in the free weights area. What's more, I've learned a lot about my body and the right mindset, realistic expectations and what a great coach can do for you.

Is the process fast? No. Is it a walk in the park? No. Does it require discipline and commitment? Yes. Is it one of those quick fixes advertised on social media? No. Am I where I want to be? Not yet. Is it worth it? Absolutely!

I have been on a thousand different programs - special food, low carb, low calorie. You name it I have probably tried it. None of these programs taught me about food and how our bodies utilize it appropriately . Jenn and her team of coaches give you the tools you need to be successful. I have been on this program over a year and I feel better than I have in a long time. I have lost weight, leaned what my body does with food, leaned about myself and how emotions play a part, and “unpacked” some painful baggage that was not helping me loose weight. Before I joined Jenn Wall’s fitness and nutrition program, I was completely at a loss. I had been restricting and exercising since I was 12, and these methods were no longer working. I had gone to Drs, tried all of the fad solutions: Adkins, Weight Watchers, fitness celebrities’ programs and even went so far as to take medications + extreme restriction + extreme workouts desperately trying to find a solution. I was miserable! I was regularly eating 1000-1200/day + eliminating entire food groups and was just stuck and gaining! When I started working with Jenn they gradually started increasing my calories and started me on a muscle building program and it’s working!!!! I’ve been with them for a year. I’ve lost approx 20 lbs, many more inches and feel so much more confident and strong, in so many areas of my life. My journey is slower than most, but it took me 55 years to get to where I was. I had slowed my metabolism so drastically that my only option would have been to eat 500-800 cal/day + exercise! CRAZY!!! This program is totally sustainable, it’s not something I’ll ever need to “go off of” because it’s now my life style. It’s also not extreme, it fits into my crazy busy life of wife, mom, grandma, teacher, home remodeler and soon to be grad student!
