I have seen 5 different physical therapy institutions since I received back surgery in 2011. Most of them pass you around to different PT's/PTA's and really care more about your wallet than your health. This is the first location that actually provides one on one care. They truly listen to your concerns and feedback. I actually get excited on my way to their facility because I know I'm going down the right path to restore my level of health and fitness. All in all, you won't find a better experience! Trust me...

I have worked with Jeff for about 9 years now, since I was 11. He is wonderful. He helped me lose weight, gain strength, and increase my all-around fitness. I started working with Jeff in middle school. I was very much out of shape, about 5' tall and 200lbs. From the start he was willing to work with me at my own pace. We started slow, just kicking around a soccer ball. As our sessions went on, Jeff would add in more exercises and equipment. Because of Jeff's guidance and training, I can now run a 7:30 mile, bench press as much as I weighed when we started, and I feel comfortable using every piece of equipment in the gym. Working with Jeff helped spark my love of fitness. Because of all the work I did with him and the results, my overall confidence and self image improved dramatically. I became a starting player and then captain of my high school soccer team. Now I am doing Army ROTC in college, and maxing the push ups and sit ups portions of the fitness tests. Jeff is a supportive, friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable trainer. I recommend him highly to everyone, from people who have never exercised before, to professional athletes. I cannot thank him enough for all that working with him has done for me.

In a busy area like Bedford, the biggest benefit is accountability. You aren't just paying for a workout; you're paying for a professional to ensure your form is perfect and your time isn't wasted on exercises that don't work for your body.
A reputable trainer must be certified. Look for certifications from accredited organizations. The most respected in the US are NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), ACE (American Council on Exercise), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), and NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association)—particularly the CSCS for athletes.
To keep costs down, consider small group training. By grabbing a few friends and splitting the session fee, you get expert attention for a fraction of the price. Additionally, ask about 'Commit and Save' deals where buying upfront lowers the per-session rate.
