With a group of members who share in similar health and fitness goals, together we will build a support team for one another to help and encourage everyone working towards healthier versions of themselves. We have the tools, you bring the desire to change. At The Training Project, it’s our job to educate our members about all the different components of fitness. Our Group Training sessions coupled with our fitness classes will cover all your physical needs including tightening and strengthening the muscle, muscular balance, endurance and conditioning, core stability and cardiovascular health. We also provide Nutritional Coaching as an additional service. This service provides you with a custom plan built for you as an individual to meet your needs and goals. With such busy lifestyles today, people find it challenging to fit exercise into an already packed schedule. Accountability plays a big supportive role in our ability to remain consistent with our fitness goals. Next, to time restraints, no body wants to make time for an exercise plan that won’t compliment their goals while remaining injury free. Our Monthly Membership options include all of our Group Personal Training Sessions as well as Group Fitness Classes. Should someone be in search of more of a specialized, custom program for their fitness goals, we have several different 1 on 1 Personal Training Packages available.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

On the first session, detailed conversation with the client is needed to asses WHY they are in search of a fitness professional. The "Why" often directs the course of action needed to specifically design a fitness plan for the client so they can reach their goals. Questions pertaining to their physical health in the past and current state are crucial for formulating an appropriate fitness plans. A client's health history is required to design a plan that is effective and SAFE for a client that may need special attention given past or current injuries or restrictions.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

There's no secret, unfortunately... We all know what to do, eat healthy and move more. What I do is simplify, and organize those 2 points. I help you learn how to move properly and effective for you, and I teach you how to pair healthy foods to help improve your metabolism and fuel your workouts. I've always told my clients, "If you listen, it will work!"

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most, is the excitement and joy a client experiences when they reach their goals; when they accomplishment what they set out to do. When they look in the mirror and feel good about what they see and how they feel about themselves, it's the best feeling for me.

What inspired you to start your own business?

What inspired me to run my own business was to have the freedom to provide my services the way I thought was the best way. To not be bound to rules and policies of a big box gym. People are individuals, and therefore, there are individual circumstances. In order to reach a goal, sometimes you have to be able to step outside of the box.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have over 16 years experience in the health industry. I am a fitness instructor, a personal trainer and nutrition coach. I've managed 2 gyms; one for operations and one for personal training. I held a full time personal training business out of my garage for 2 years before moving my business to a 4,000 square foot building consisting of machines and equipment to service clients 1 on 1 and in small groups.

From 2006-2012 I have competed in over 13 Figure competitions, taking first in my class twice and the overall title once on the National Level. Changing the body through food and exercise is what I do.
