I have started classes with Helen a couple of month ago - and I love it. The way the class is built up to the motivation and fun Helen is giving is perfect. I was not able to do a single pull up - but I am a climber...she made it possible...I think it took me like 2 month or so and now I am able to do 3 in a row and many negative ones...I am so happy...I always have an endorphine rush after class and they are hard but it really pays off.

I’ve worked with Steve Ramos for about a year. He’s a knowledgeable trainer and it’s clear that he has my best interests at heart.
When I have a workout or diet question, he always knows the answer (or finds out the answer). If I ever feel pain somewhere, he helps me to understand why I feel pain, how I can take care of it and how I can prevent it from happening again. He really helped me to learn about proper diet and nutrition, which is so important with any workout program. He’s also very responsive to feedback. If there is ever a workout I don’t particularly like, he tries to create other workouts that I enjoy more. If I'm just not feeling great one day, he helps me modify my workout. If I’m not getting the exact results I want, he works with me to understand why and to help me reach my goals.
I definitely recommend Steve if you need a personal trainer. He’s a great guy (we’ve had some fun conversations) and he’s great at what he does. He has really helped me improve my strength, nutrition and overall health. I recently moved so I can’t work with him anymore but he still helps me whenever I have questions.

Matt is a great trainer. Every time I say "I can't do that" he simply says "Yes you can" And I find out he is right! He pushes me and takes no excuses. His Burn groups are fun but yet challenging. He is always switching it up and finding new workouts so you never get bored. The people in the Burn group are simply great! The Burn Groups are full of fun, laughs, support and encouragement. His nutrition program provides a lot of great information. I am soon to be 52 and feeling the best I ever have thanks to Matt!

My offerings include in-home personal training (either in your home gym or with equipment I can bring to our session), personal training sessions out of any Planet Fitness in the area OR a luxury gym in Sudbury at no extra cost to you, as well as 1:1 nutrition coaching and supplementation recommendations based on your goals.
We have been members since Bosse was first opened. It is the nicest gym in the area. The equipment and locker rooms are extremely clean. They have all basic supplies, like towels, shampoo/conditioner, combs, etc.
The snack bar is a great touch, filled with healthy options.
The staff is very friendly. The pool is clean and life guards are on duty.
We really enjoy going to Bosse as a family. They encourage the family atmosphere and children are very welcome. My daughter is 10 and she works out along side me on a treadmill. This is very important to our enjoyment of the health club.

Larry is the BEST!! I have been training with Larry for the last 3 years - I started when I was 18, and I have been through a lot since then. Travel, school (finals, etc), medical difficulties, travel. No matter what, Larry always does a great job accessing my energy and physical levels, allowing me to re-gain any strength I've lost and eventually move past my old limits.
This all got even better since Larry opened up his own gym in Newton. Even though it's a longer commute for me, the experience is incredible. His space allows for both weight based exercise and more dynamic running based exercises. After every workout, I always feel tired (in a good way), but not too sore and painful due to a good stretching and foam rolling routine.
Larry is such an incredible trainer and person. There is absolutely no better place you can go than Waju!!!

Working out with the guys at Always Strong Fitness has been amazing for me. I've always struggled with motivating myself but now my only responsibility is to show up. I don't have to worry about if I'm doing the right exercises or using the right weights. Once I get there I know that I will get a good, healthy workout, that I will be challenged but not overworked or at risk of hurting myself and that along the way I'll get to hang out with a fun group of people who support and motivate me to do better. I won't say it's not hard, because it's wicked hard, it's supposed to be! But it's now something I look forward to instead of dread. I can't recommend these guys enough, they are awesome.
I've also recently started working with their new Nutritionist Lauren and so far that experience has been just as rewarding. Lauren has been patient and flexible. She listens to me and helps me focus on small changes and being more mindful about my relationship with food and I'm feeling really good about the start we have made.

Dropped in while in town for a wedding and everyone (both the owners and members) were beyond friendly and welcoming. The WOD was awesome (adapted from a regionals workout) and facilities were incredible -- easily 3x the size of an NYC box, and maybe 1.5-2x the size of a typical large/mid size city box. Steve (owner) even spent extra time afterward helping me with my ring muscle ups. Will look forward to hopefully coming back here soon!
I was someone who had never taken a group fitness class before joining Fitness Balanced. The truth is, walking through the door for that first class was the hardest part. After almost a year of membership, walking into this gym is one of the best parts of my day.
There's a good variety of classes here. Personally, I love Boxing, Sweat, and any kind of strength training class. The restorative yoga events are bomb and will give you the best night sleep of your life.
The trainers and the other members are just lovely. I am so lucky to have found such an empowering group of women to spend my workout time with.
Every workout with Greg leaves me satisfied and sore! He has successfully targeted all muscle groups and is excellent at creating a new routine each time. Highly recommend him for not only is he a great trainer but he is extremely patient and funny!

Went to my first class this morning with Rachael and it was everything I could ask for in a class: motivating, challenging and fun. She was great at making sure I knew all the exercises and corrected my form when necessary. Will definitely come back!
I have been going to CSF for the past 6 years and I can honestly say that it is the best workout I have ever done. I have been an athlete my whole life, but I feel that I am in better shape now, at 33, than I have ever been. Isaac is awesome and really cares about you as a member and makes sure that you are getting what you need out of the workout. The members are an extension of your family and we all get together when we can. The atmosphere is inviting, nice and challenging. I love CSF!
This gym is awesome, they have everything from power racks to sleds, tires and sledgehammers. The group strength sessions are brutal (in a good way) and the trainers are all very knowledgeable and helpful for even your first time stepping away from a couch and into the gym. I've been going since the opening and I love it.
This is an amazing barre studio! My mom and I started coming here end of January 2018 and we're hooked. I've only had classes with Sera and Lea, who are incredible and motivating instructors, but I have no doubt the other instructors are magnificent too. They have a wide variety of classes so you never feel bored. Also, they do a good job of mixing up the exercises in each class so it doesn't feel repetitive every time you go. I especially love their barre + babe class because it's a fun thing I can do with my baby. The studio is also very clean and spacious. It is a top quality barre studio.

I love kickboxing is not just a studio or a gym or an occasional class you take....it's truly a fit family! The instructors are full of energy and they always enjoy switching up the classes. The instructors are also so helpful and welcoming! I was so nervous my first day but I felt so welcomed into the fit family and the workout you get is like no other! I truly recommend trying them out! I love kickboxing has truly changed my life! You can’t go anywhere else that’s a clean environment, fun, helpful and high energy as well as of course the amazing way you feel when you finish your workout.
I use both the 1-1 personal training sessions as well as the group classes. The instructors always find ways to make the sessions and the classes a little different and interesting and often have contests and events that build camaraderie. Unlike other gyms, Zone Fitness provides a real sense of friendship and common goals.
I love Fitness Together Brookline. I cannot say enough about the knowledgeable and personable staff. Since I've been working out, I've gained considerable strength and energy. Stefanie is truly a unique professional. She combines multiple disciplines and therapy approaches when diagnosing and remedying an injury. She is definitely the most knowledgeable and experienced therapist I have ever been too. I highly recommend.
This place is GREAT! I visited it last week to check t out, the front desk was great. They offer great classes (zumba, weight lifting, cardio circuit) and the price is so affordable (50$ +half of it as an initiating fee total 84$ ) Plus that they have a one week trial which I thought is a great thing to try before commiting. I love this gym, the trainers are nice and the push you to the core!
This place is awesome! The trainers and instructors are all great and really push you to get fit. The other people in the class I took (Fight Fit) were super supportive and pushed each other too, so it's cool to be in a fitness environment like that. Tons of equipment, it's clean, and a great place to work out. 5⭐️
Some people look at CrossFit as some sort of cult and others as a fad. Well, they are both wrong. It's a community where we train together to improve our daily lives physically and mentally.
I was nervous when I first joined, but can honestly say that I'm in my best shape ever now. It's a commitment and challenging, but the coaches will push you and others will inspire you.
CrossFit Lowell as a community cannot be beat. It's always about the people you are with. They help create the experience more than what you're actually doing. Whether you just started or been there since the beginning of time, you are warmly welcomed and feel a part of it.

My training at Fitness Together has been the best investment I've made in years. Having danced and done yoga for many years, I thought strength training would be boring and I was so wrong! The trainers thoughtfully vary each session, yet keep the underlying principles consistent, so we are always building up my strength and skills. My posture has improved, knee and back pain is gone, and I feel great. When Jesse, Jill or Charles greets me at the door, I know I will be energized after the session, and ready for my day.
SSFBBC has changed my life!! I've been going for about 5 months now and have dropped just about 25lbs! Not only have I dropped weight but I have gained strength and confidence! I’ve been coming to blue barre for 4 months now and it’s the best thing I’ve done for myself in years! As someone who loves Casio and hates strength I came to try barre and was hooked. I now come 4-5 times a week and have tried barre,spin,surf set. grace and the other instructors as well as sense of community have changed my life! I feel strong,happy, healthy and have lost a few pounds (added bonus)
Unfortunately, I no longer have ClassPass, so I am unable to visit this studio as much; however, when I did, Endurance was one of my favorite places to practice. Julie, the owner, is just fabulous. However, don't let that gorgeous face and smile fool you; she will work you o u t.
Went there for a wrestling show later at night. A bit hard to find, but plenty of parking, the staff was nice, and the facilities were well kept. One star off for the akward stairs at the entrance and no clear signs from the road.
Impact is a great gym! They have great staff! There are fitness classes available, personal training and group training. If you want to work out on your own there are a bunch of free weights and cardio machines available.
Dan's personal training is outstanding. The sessions are never routine and the hour flies by. Dan has perfected a system of HIT ( High Intensity Training) that if you are willing to put in the effort, you will feel stronger and look better within a short amount of time. Not to mention a friendly supportive environment and personal touch, I instantly felt like part of the Iron Way family. And not to mention all the great people I've met through Iron Way. I've never felt judged or left out. I highly recommend to all.
This is the best gym you could ask for!! Been doing crossfit for 2 years now... Gill, the owner, is both knowledgeable and understanding of your personal goals!! So many crossfit gyms forget or ignore form or individual needs (which leads to injuries). Gill and the other coaches are how it should be done!!
Commit 2B Fit is an amazing place to lose weight, look great and meet awesome people! Every teacher is different in their own way and all the classes are diverse and exciting. I can't recommend this studio enough!!
Jake is a truly incredible personal trainer. He is dedicated to his clients and offers endless motivation for them to reach their goals. I trained with Jake when I was in high school and he completely changed the way I saw fitness and working out. My mind set went from wanting to look a certain way to trying to be the healthiest version of myself. Whether you're a man or woman, if you workout everyday or have never set foot on a treadmill, Jake will help you set and reach your fitness goals.
I've been taking personal training, boot camp and zumba classes here for a month. I really appreciate the meal plan that comes with personal training - it guides you but gives you enough flexibility to be creative. The classes are really fun as well and not a single one has been the same so far!
I've been a member here for 10+ years. They have all of the free weight (dumbbells up to 130lbs ea) and machine equipment that you could ever need. Multiple benches, squat racks, etc. Dozens of treadmills and other cardio equipment. The staff is awesome. Monthly membership is very low compared to other places with similar equipment/set ups. Highly recommend this place!
This studio is so wonderful to be a part of and such a great experience for any child or adult. I have been a part of it for years now and everyone is so cared for and so passionate about dance. You learn so much while also gaining many friends. I have taken classes as a kid, as an adult, and have taught my own classes and each experience has been so great! Highly recommend!
I have been going to Athletic Strength Training for a month now. I have had a great experience and have already seen tremendous results including my clothing sizes going down rapidly. Every time I work out I see improvements of some sort. Micheal Peshler is an excellent trainer. He asses every person and makes realistic, effective, and fun programs tailored to each individual. It is clear he cares about each of his clients, which is extremely hard to find in commercial gyms these days. This gym is not a bootcamp or a class like that. It is personal training in a group enviorement. Micheal does a great job at paying close attention to everyone for corrections and extra encouragement. He also keeps records of all workouts in order for clients to see there progress in weight sets, and reps. The gym is also clean and the schedule is very flexible. I recommend this gym to people who are looking to workout consistently, achieve goals, and most importantly feel better about themselves as they become stronger and healthier.
Matt is nd has been my coach since 2009 and after Junior Nationals I took almost 2 years off but I came bck slowly nd Matt has been there every step of the way. The amount of Passion, nd genuine adoration for the sport nd coaching within itself rubs off on you. It's contagious.. nd most importantly He's Patient.

The best martial arts school to learn traditional Karate in the Lawrence / Methuen area. The instructor is authentic and genuine and every class is unique. From kids to adults Sensei Diaz balances each class like a true Karate master. We love sending students to their annual tournament. The Sensei has created a beautiful academy in a historical mill building. Always maintaining it to the highest standards of cleanliness. About 4 months ago I was introduced to Tim the owner at Spartan Training. I began training with him and since have lost 58lbs. I see Tim 3 times a week and feel great. He has me on a strict diet and I am on my way to becoming in the best shape of my life. During his training he is fully concentrated on how you work out and strategically concentrating on each particular muscle at stake. I would highly recommend Tim and his health expertise.
