Rutland Home Care are a family run business that offer two separate services; Domiciliary Care and Home Cleaning . We can help with Pharmacy runs, doctors/hospital visits, companionship calls/days out, assisting with medication. We are also here to help with any personal care that may be needed, we are fully trained and keep up to date with our training. We also offer a Home Cleaning service, if you find these jobs are getting a bit too much to handle or you simple do not have the time, leave it to us. We look forward to hearing from you :-)
Rutland Home Care has been up and running since the beginning of this year, however we have 5 years experience within care as a whole. I have experience within Care Homes in Cornwall and Domiciliary Care in Rutland. I have become so attached and passionate about caring that i decided to start my own business and help keep the elderly and disabled in their own homes, where they fell most comfortable.

The best thing about being a carer is the relationship you build together, with your clients and the positive impact you can have on someones life. I have seen in the past, that not being able to complete daily tasks that they used to do so easily and feeling frustrated with life can be such a burden, so my job is to take that burden off of their shoulders and make their day, that much simpler. Seeing the worry and frustration leave their faces, that's what I love most about my job.
My inspiration came from having learnt over the years, that care doesn't really work properly within big companies. I have had clients in the past, when working within a big company, that have been unhappy with the numerous of carers they see a week . I believe that continuity in care is so important for many reasons, and i feel this is impossible to achieve within a large company. I also feel that there aren't enough true caring carers out there, so I have started my own business so that I can make sure, my clients have continuity and a carer that will truly care.
I can honestly say that I am a true carer.
Unfortunately becoming a carer is (i think) too easy, anyone can do it because anyone can do the jobs that it entails ie, cooking, cleaning, assisting with medication and personal care........ but it takes a true carer to do this with passion, integrity and continuously have this approach.
I am punctual, professional, i always work in a person centred way and most importantly, caring is my passion.
