Patrick was so relaxed and welcoming that we felt comfortable right away. He connected with us on our level, kept everything easy and natural, and was absolutely brilliant with the kids — patient and genuinely engaged. Such a friendly presence to have around, the kids were disappointed when he left! The relaxed vibe really showed in the end result. We were delighted with the photos, just what we wanted. More...

We had a family photo shoot with Patrick during the summer and it was such a lovely, relaxed experience. I'm not great with posed photographs so Patrick's documentary approach was perfect for our family and he was able to capture some really natural, beautiful moments. I can't recommend him enough! Thank you so much, Patrick! More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I adopt a natural and candid approach to wedding photography. My aim is to simply capture real moments as they happen, with little fuss and no interference; allowing your photographs to tell the unique story of your day as it really happened.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I'd simply ask have they had a look at my website/social media to make sure they love the same type of wedding photography that I do.
And if they have the same priorities for their wedding day as Grainne & Andy had:
"Patrick we just wanted to say before we even see a single photo what an absolute pleasure it was to have you as our photographer. It was exactly what we wanted. All our time, which still didn't feel like enough, was spent concentrating on our guests as we wanted, and we knew you had every single moment and angle from 11am till the wee hours covered. Thank you and we can't wait to see the photos!"

What do you love most about your job?
I love that the approach I adopt. Documentary / Reportage / Photo-journalistic wedding photography, allows couples to spend as much time on their wedding day with their friends & family as possible. It's amazing how fast the day can pass you by.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Just a love of photography and the opportunity it gives to preserve and freeze unique moments in our lives - both for ourselves to look back on, but also for our kids/grandchildren to have a connection to.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose me because they want to enjoy their wedding day with minimal fuss or interference from their photography - leaving them with photos to look back on that remind them of the real emotions from their day,
