What do you love most about your job?
There is also a sense of accomplishment in terms of the daily creative aspects of caregiving that arise when I help my clients to do something that they are not able to do by themselves. Knowing that my efforts have brought a quality of life (even if only for a brief time) for an individual, offers a strong sense of accomplishment and personal satisfaction.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started looking after my grandfather who was paralysed waist down at the age of 10. My direct involvement in his care gave me a sense of accomplishment as I felt that I did all I could possibly do for him at that time and I believe I made a difference in the life of someone I loved or cared about. I decided to open my own business to extend this passion to others needing help and create an opportunity to offer physical and emotional support. I believe my role as a carer can impact the quality of life of an individual and can help ensure that they get the proper level of care and support. It also is rewarding when you feel you are helping someone.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
This organisation has a statutory duty of care for people’s health and safety. Looking after Clients and Employees, health, well-being and safety is our number one priority during this outbreak. As such;
All staff have been vaccinated
Staff get tested every week
Use of personal proctective equipment (PPE) while in contact with clients is compulsory
Other measures are in place following government guidelines.
