God awful.

My dogs were there 1 1/2 year ago, still has scars from the pressure sores she came home with. Paid for baths, smelled disgusting when I got them back, the car stunk for a solid couple weeks after too.

They got kennel cough when they were there, did an absolute garbage job of taking any accountability. Made accusations of being insincere. Seems like owner is delusional and has a habit of trying to shift blame and being rude.

This place isn't even BBB accredited, they give discounts as a reward for 5 star reviews. They stuff as many dogs as they can into their facility, has since COMPLETELY scared me from boarding my dogs anywhere ever again.

Still haven’t heard back from anyone regarding our dog’s treatment despite sending many emails and calling the facility to address the problem. Our dog came back to us having lost 15lbs in 9 days despite staff telling us he was eating fine. His nails were cut past the quick, without our knowledge or consent. He also was completely soaked in urine as if he was never let out. This has led to irritation/infection in his paws. He also has kennel cough. This was a terrible experience overall and the fact that no one has responded to our attempts to remedy the situation is ridiculous. More...

My 3 fur babies are always excited to go to Club Mead. They are always happy and healthy when they come home. Megan went above and beyond for us in an emergency situation wherein we needed their services immediately. I feel they really do know their clients, both human and fur babies, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. More...

It seemed like our dog enjoyed her stay and we really like the close proximity to the airport. We will be bringing her back for our next vacation!

We have boarded our dog Doodles at Club Mead since he was a year old...it’s his home away from home and he truly gets excited the minute we turn into Nisku because he knows where he is going. They have always been very accommodating ...and you can’t beat the location...super close to the airport!!!! More...

We've been taking our dogs here for years and wouldn't have it any other way. For a fairly large scale facility they have a way of making it so personal you forget about their size. We have one particularly difficult to manage dog, and have tried at least four other kennels in the city, this is the only one that can both handle him and also welcomes us back. All of our dogs are happy when we pick them up which is also unique to this kennel. No more silent treatments... Thank you for the hard work and keep it up! More...

Club Mead is the only kennel that I have ever trusted to take care of my two dogs. My girls love coming here, my husky even starts howling with excitement from the moment we start heading in their direction. My dogs are always greeted by name when we walk through the door and I love hearing about their day and who they played with when I come pick them up. My dogs are huge important members of my family and you can tell that the staff at Club Mead truly care about them and treat them like members of their family. Thank you Club Mead for everything! Former employee. This place is disgusting, a prison for dogs. Everything you are told about your dog is a lie. Whether they played with other dogs, how many times or how long they get outside, how much they’re interacted with, how they acted, all lies. They will never tell you if you dog got into a fight, bit a staff member, has to go out alone, gets shoved in runs with other dogs when they’re full, because they just don’t care about anything except money.
Your dogs are rushed outside so staff can clean the inside, then rushed back inside to clean the outside. You never have time to just sit with a dog, pet it, give it more than 5 seconds of attention trying to put it back into their run. If there’s down time you will be scolded for brushing a dog since “they aren’t paying for that” and instead told to scrub walls, clean the office, or take garbage out.
They actively hide things from employees in regards to the care they give their own animals, house infectious animals who should be quarantined, and are overall horrible people. I mean look at the responses to these reviews, not even trying to pretend to be focused on customer satisfaction or giving themselves a good image. And you know why? Because they know that there’s always going to be people who don’t care about where their pets stay, there will always be people in a bind with no choice. They know that they can treat their clients, staff, and the animals they’re being paid to take care of like total shit, because someone will always need a job, and some people will never care to look into the facility they trust their animals with.
It’s a toxic environment to work in, the people are miserable, the management sucks, all they do is shit talk each other to everyone else, bad mouthing long term employees to brand new people. Shit talking employees who leave for better jobs, to move away, to do anything other than continue to work in a miserable toxic environment, because I guess they just want everyone to stay there forever and be miserable with them.
It’s just overall a horrible place with horrible people and it makes me sick to my stomach to think I worked there, and to know that there are people who don’t have a clue how the place is actually run. All of these 5 star reviews within the same time frame look payed off. Which is funny because when I worked there I remember the management bitching about facilities that give deals or discounts to those who give a good review, because it’s fake. Yet it seems theyve done exactly the same thing.
What a sad, sad place.
And yes, this is under a fake name so don’t bother responding saying I didn’t work there and this is all a lie, because you all know damn well that I’ve said nothing that isn’t true.

I have been bringing my girls, Millie and Sage, to Club Mead for the past 3 years. I have always felt that they were in good hands and I have appreciated the friendly staff and the ongoing relationship that they have developed with the dogs and they always warmly great them when they arrive. It has also been great to be able to have the dogs have separate runs, as Sage prefers a much calmer environment and enjoys being with like minded dogs. Millie on the other hand, a 2 year old Dane cross, likes to play all of the time - the more play the better! Their needs are both met while they are guests at the resort. Thank you very much for all that you do! More...

We have been bringing Buddy and Riley for a couple of years. Buddy gets very excited, and Riley is okay with going (he is a home body dog). They are well looked after and convenient location when heading to the mountains or airport. The staff are friendly and efficient with the check in and out. At first the online booking is different but once you are set up it is easy. See you soon :) More...

We have taken Capone our BT here for over 7 years when we go on vacation. We have been bringing our dog Cooper to Club Mead for many many years! We actually would not even consider bringing him anywhere else. We feel highly confident in the care and attention the staff give Cooper during each of his his stays with them. They provide a safe and loving environment and the staff are friendly and professional but most of all you can tell they have a genuine love for animals. So if you are looking for a place to board your beloved pet Club Mead is in my opinion and experience one of the best!! More...

Like everyone my pets are like my babies so being mamma I get nervous leaving them for extended periods of time. My husband and I have tired multiple pet resorts and each time my animals have come back with behavioural abnormalities. .... until Club Mead. My dog was so happy and my cat was relaxed I will only ever use Club Mead for boarding!!! Not to mention the ease of commute between the airport and the facility. Dropping off a hyper husky and cat with food while trying to make an international flight by myself was very stressful, the staff made it so much more relaxed! Would give 10 out of 5 stars. More...

Leaving my dog, Drogo, behind is never easy for me, but thanks to the wonderful staff at Club Mead, I feel confident that he is being looked after by people who genuinely care for his well being. I’ve brought my dog to Club Mead several times over the past year and a half, and I’ve been very happy with the facility and service. I think my dog would attest to it too, as he always comes out with a happy disposition when I go to pick him up. More...
