I love working with Audrey! She is super knowledgeable and worked with me to strengthen areas where I had previously been injured. I felt our work together really strengthened those areas that I’d been struggling with and it’s been such an improvement in my life. She listens to your needs and really makes you feel comfortable and confident in the work you are doing!

In a busy area like Long Beach, the biggest benefit is accountability. You aren't just paying for a workout; you're paying for a professional to ensure your form is perfect and your time isn't wasted on exercises that don't work for your body.
A reputable trainer must be certified. Look for certifications from accredited organizations. The most respected in the US are NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), ACE (American Council on Exercise), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), and NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association)—particularly the CSCS for athletes.
To keep costs down, consider small group training. By grabbing a few friends and splitting the session fee, you get expert attention for a fraction of the price. Additionally, ask about 'Commit and Save' deals where buying upfront lowers the per-session rate.

Hi! My name is Lisa. I am a Certified Personal Trainer with the NASM and a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher. It is my goal to help you understand the many benefits of movement for mental health and mood (not just for weight-loss) and to help those of you who are just starting out ease your way into a movement practice that feels good and makes sense for your body.
I really love helping people connect with and heal their bodies. I also just love meeting new people and connecting on a human level.
The way I approach health, wellness, and movement is different than many other personal trainers. I like to help clients reach their goals by focusing on the many other benefits (aside from weight loss) that movement can provide, such as improved mental health, better moods, improved functionality, etc. I think that the fitness industry as a whole puts too much emphasis on weight loss and body-building and not enough on helping beginners ease their way into movement & fitness, so I wanted to start my own business to try and shift the narrative.
I am personable and reliable, and I really want to ensure success by working closely with clients to create individualized plans based on clients' goals and objectives. It is my job to meet each person where they are on their fitness journey and make sure that they develop habits that will ensure movement and fitness stays a part of their lives for the long haul!
Yes, I can do remote sessions via Zoom. Once you schedule with me, you'll receive a Zoom link via email. Sessions are 45 minutes, however, our first session will be about an hour. It will consist of 20-30 minutes of discussion followed by an assessment so that we can start to plan out your routine.
I now offer remote services. For in-person classes, all of my equipment is sanitized before and after each use.
