How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

I take each client through a complementary consultation where I found out everything that is relevant and necessary to build a completely customized workout based on what they want to reach, where they're at in their fitness journey, and how long they're looking for it to take.


These workout programs are specifically designed to not only reach the main goal of the client, but also address important health and fitness aspects needed for optimal health and living such as cardiovascular ability, balance and stability, flexibility, and strength. This is all done with an emphasis on safety. I also provide nutrition support and tactics to overhaul your current diet and learn how to eat better for life without being super restrictive and bland in your meals.

In addition to designing the highly effective workouts and helping with nutrition, the biggest aspect of how I help my clients is that I travel to them. Time and time again they tell me "if you weren't coming to me I wouldn't be doing this" and I believe they get much better results from this format as it greatly reduces the excuses for cancelling. Because they keep getting their workouts done week in and week out, they continue to get impressive results that amaze even me!

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Commitment through perseverance and consistency and having a long-term approach in mind. As someone who has lost over 200 pounds through multiple approaches, I can tell you the best one is the one that you can easily maintain for the rest of your life. Fitness and proper eating has to become a way of life, there's no way around it. That is, unless you want to continually fluctuate with your health and weight. This is a learned skill that must be continually perfected and improved upon every day, it's not easy and there are no true shortcuts.

So I don't believe there's an ultimate workout, a perfect diet, or a magic bullet to reaching these goals we have in mind. I do believe that if you want the body of your dreams, you've got to earn it. Every pound or inch lost, every pound of muscle gained. It may take 6 months, it may take 2 years. I come in and take care of the planning so at least you know that however long it's going to take, you WILL get there and know how to keep your results for life.

What do you love most about your job?

I honestly love getting people results! As I mentioned above I've lost over 200 pounds and this was from 2 separate transformations. The feeling of accomplishment I got after my first weight loss was exhilarating and empowered me to tackle other areas of my life and I love passing this empowerment on to others. Playing a small role in helping someone completely change their life for the better is an awesome perk of what I do. The other biggest thing is the people! I love connecting with new people and getting to work with amazing clients. For me, that's what it's all about.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Freedom. I wanted to take something I loved and was good at (health and fitness) and do it full time in my own way, with my own goals. This isn't just a job, it's a career; it's my passion. I knew as long as I was working for someone else I would not be working on pursuing my passion but theirs. I've worked for many corporations and even though many of them talk about putting customers and employees first, in reality, it's all about their bottom line and I got tired of it. I want to put people first, not money, and the only way I could think to fully be able to do that was to go out on my own. Starting my own business has made the sky the limit and I can continue to grow and help as many people as I can and continually find new ways to do so and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Well honestly, there's many reasons. Great results, convenience, customer service. But I'm sure if you've looked at any other trainer's profile on here you'll see similar answers. The biggest reason I think my clients choose to work with me isn't just because they love the workouts but because they can see that I genuinely care, not only about their results from training but them as a person. I get to work with people anywhere from a few weeks to over a year, and anything can happen during that time, good or bad. I do my absolute best to offer my support through the tough times just as much as the good and I believe that is what people need nowadays; businesses or even just people who care and value their clients.
