Carmello is an amazing personal trainer! I have been doing his bootcamps since the summer and I have noticed such a difference not only in my strength but my appearance. I lift weights and exercise regularly but decided I needed to change it up. I started going to Carmello's bootcamps and immediately felt like I was learning something new, gaining strength, and starting to look more fit. Carmello is truly knowledgeable when it comes to personal training. With his classes I met new people, changed up my routine, lost weight, and gained knowledge about how to workout better and smarter. Even though it was a group class I received personal attention from Carmello to make sure my form was correct and I didn't hurt myself. (This is so important and I did not find this to be the case in other bootcamps) Overall, I would highly recommend Carmello and his personal training services!

This review is long overdue! I joined Pacifico about a year and a half ago and it truly is a great place to workout! At first, CrossFit sounded intimidating, but I wanted to try something new. I found Pacifico through Groupon, and the locations and hours were convenient for me, so I decided to give it a shot. The members were all extremely friendly, welcoming, and encouraging, which helped a lot! The coaches are all great! From learning how to squat (I wish I were exaggerating), to learning the various gymnastics and weightlifting movements, Rick, who owns the gym, is extremely knowledgeable, patient and is great at personalizing the workouts to various levels of expertise. It is motivating to me that he leads by example. He personally does every single workout that he programs. Regardless if you've been doing CrossFit for a while, are thinking about giving it a try for the first time, or are just visiting from out of town and need a place to workout, I highly recommend you check Pacifico out!
Should I work out every day of the week?
It depends on your end goal. If you’re training for a marathon, you might work out nearly every day of the week. If you’re a low-level beginner, a minimum of three times a week is enough to make a noticeable impact. No matter what you’re working out for, everyone needs rest and recovery days. Without them, your muscles won’t be able to recuperate and grow strong, so remember to factor in some down-time, too!
