Hi! My name is Lisa. I am a Certified Personal Trainer with the NASM and a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher. It is my goal to help you understand the many benefits of movement for mental health and mood (not just for weight-loss) and to help those of you who are just starting out ease your way into a movement practice that feels good and makes sense for your body.
I help my clients thru personal training (resistance training) and coaching for cardio and nutrition habits that support health and weight loss
The secret is wanting that body more than the treats, and being willing to invest 30-45 min/day in yourself
Watching my clients transform their bodies, and improve their health.
I am a science geek and when my son was born with a milk allergy, I took nutrition classes so that I'd understand how best to feed my family. When I was plateauing in the gym, I decided to learn to be a personal trainer so that I could figure out better/more effective workout plans for myself. I wasn't going to actually be a trainer back then. But friends and family asked for my help and I found I really enjoyed helping others improve their health.
If you are looking for a drill sergeant type of trainer that yells and hollers at you, I'm not your gal, but if you want someone that is going to encourage you to give it your all, and will challenge you to grow and stretch, then let's talk.
