GOLD'S GYM IS AMAZING!! I've been a member here since January and I could not be happier. The staff is very friendly, and extremely helpful whenever I had any questions. Mark (manager) made signing up a breeze, and gave me a thorough tour of the facility. I decided to work out with a trainer, and was paired with Justin Z. I am so happy with my decision. Justin is very informative, extremely knowledgeable, and makes working out enjoyable. If you're looking for a trainer I highly recommend Justin. He takes the time to explain everything he has you do, and the benefits of it. I've been to many gyms in the area, and couldn't find one that was worth it. Most of them were wildly overpriced for the quality of the equipment, and only offered large group classes with trainers who had no clue what they were doing. Gold's tewksbury is the spot to be. I belong to a few different gyms but I can honestly say I use this one the most, I travel 40 minutes to get here and it’s worth every second of my travel time! After an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with another local gym, Gold’s Tewksbury has been a breath of fresh air. The club is always clean with a huge selection of machines and equipment. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Mark especially took time to listen to my previous experience and walk me through all the different options at Gold’s. He always greets my by name now when I come in.I’m currently training with Mike, and his commitment to his clients and helping you learn and reach your goals is second to none!I am sad to be leaving this gym and Gold’s franchise at the end of the year. I recently joined Golds ! And started doing Personal Training with PJ, and i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him! Not only does he love what he does, he really works with you, he cares, and is passionate about it! I felt super uncomfortable getting into the gym at 33! But he makes me feel very comfortable! Probably the best gym I've ever been a member with. All the equipment is either new or in amazing condition. The other members are extremely respectful and no one seems to get in each others way. Came in once and never thought about going back to my old gym.Also, special shout-out to Mark (the manager) - I had an issue with my account not properly displaying my full account details that he took care of quickly and courteously. Wanted to give a shout out to this Gold's Gym. My husband and I moved to Tewksbury a little over a year ago and transferred from our other local Gold's to Tewksbury's location. The gym is large, nice new equipment and always clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the free childcare, our two year old son LOVES going there!! For $40 a month it is worth every penny, especially if you are a parent who finds it hard to exercise- just bring your kidos with you! Highly recommend! More...

Amending my review; facility is clean and good equipment. However, climate control is a major issue. It is nearly 80 inside in the summer, the manager admits to turning off the night and the owner is trying to keep the electricity bill down. Men's room sink has been broken for a year. Mark and his staff have played a vital role in my physical rehab, health and 45 pound weight loss. Gold's gym Tewksbury is an inclusive, clean, and friendly gym with lots of options. This gym is more like 4.2 stars, but I'll round up to 5 to offset some of the poor reviews.  Multiple floors, tons of equipment (which was in great shape), and clean.  I have 3 suggestions for making this gym a true 5 stars:- Temperature inside the gym was a bit warm.  The ceiling was weird, so installing ceiling fans may not be possible.  If the A/C can't be turned up, there should be fans on the floor (cardio areas at least).- No pec dec?  This is one of the most popular pieces of equipment in any gym.- Toilet stalls in the women's locker room were tight.  The locker room itself is fine, but for some reason the stalls were super small.I'm jealous of this Gold's.  The ones near me don't compare. I am a fitness instructor and I have been in a lot of gyms.  I am impressed with this facility because of the way it is run, how clean it is, the variety of equipment and how organized, friendly and professional the staff are.  The operations manager is always walking around putting equipment back and cleaning so the place is immaculate!  Everyone knows your name when you walk in and they truly care about the members.  The trainers are on top of their game as well.  I never have to wait for equipment and I get a serious workout in in a short amount of time.  The second floor with the turf and multifunctional stations is awesome.  Out of all the gyms in the area this is my favorite by far!  If you are serious about getting in shape or you are into bodybuilding this is the place!  Thanks Mark, Justin Steve and crew - you guys all rock! Been to a lot of facilities in the past.  Gold's Gym's tend to stands out from the rest.  The Tewksbury Massachusetts facility is VERY large and is very well laid out.  It has adequate space to allow for a really comfortable workout. The locker room's are kept fairly clean and offers shower's and a sauna.  Staff at front desk are nice enough.  Day Care staff is great and convenient.  They seem to have a large training staff, however, I have never dealt with them directly.  Over-all the management seems to be doing a good job. Golds gym Tewksbury is awesome especially if you have children the ladies who take care of our kids are all amazing the playroom is very big with a ton of toys the gym itself has pretty much everything it's 3 floors and it has its own Women section if needed the bathrooms could be maintained a little better but we always train at night so I'm assuming there way better during the day and they both have sauna, all the classes are available and trainers are on-sight. I would definitely recommend trying it out free for a week jist to make sure it's a fit for you and you're situation! More...
