I am A.C.E. Certified and have been personal training for over ten years with a B.S. in Exercise Science. I just recently left my gym of six years where I was the master trainer, to start my own business, Optimal Fitness, with the hope of branching out to more people.

Couldn’t be more thankful for Matt - reviews like this one was the reason I originally reached out! I have only been training with him for around 6 weeks, and I already feel so much better after some time off. The environment is extremely welcoming and relaxed, which is exactly what I was looking for. Matt is extremely knowledgeable with all things fitness. His workouts are tailored to each individual to help with long term progress. The workouts are challenging and always different, which makes me look forward to each session! Matt is an excellent and experienced trainer. He has a very nice facility which is always clean. He keeps all mats and equipment constantly sanitized. I’ve been training with Matt since January. I had surgery that cut through my abdominal muscles back in 2021. I hadn’t worked those muscles in a year and a half. I couldn’t even do a sit up in January. I can now do 10 and I have so much of my core strength back! Highly recommend Matt and his programs!! More...

Optimal fitness is an exceptional gym with great people and Matt is an awesome trainer. The best!!! Very knowledgeable and dedicated, he helped me start my fitness journey. I really wanted/NEEDED a change but I didn’t know where to begin. I’ve been working with Matt for about a month now and my experience so far has been great! Im currently signed up for personal training sessions. Although it’s only been a month, I can already feel the progress. I have more energy overall and I can get through sets without feeling like I’m going to faint (a huge accomplishment for me). Matt is professional, non judgmental, and low-key (which is awesome for me, I don’t feel overwhelmed by too much information). We are going at my pace, which I really appreciate. Matt is a chill and wonderful person to train with. He keeps the environment lite and comfortable and pushes you to the limit. Sometimes you wouldn’t even notice that you are pushing your limits. Matt brings the custom experience to your fitness level and your desired gains (or losses). He takes the time to understand what your goals are and helps you attack them through both fitness and nutrition.
