I love helping increase children's confidence and resilience. Helping them make rapid progress through 1-1 tutoring is so rewarding. I also love creating close relationships with the families of the students I tutor.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to create a tutoring business that puts the children at the centre of what we do. Offering affordable, bespoke support to child to enable them to reach their full potential whilst becoming more confident, resilient and independent.

Education Other Than at School
At Spark Academy, we specialise in delivering EOTAS (Education Other Than at School) packages through our team of experienced, fully qualified teachers. Each of our tutors brings a wealth of expertise in working with children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), as well as those with medical conditions, mental health challenges, or who have experienced trauma.
We are able to provide advice and guidance as to whether we feel we would be able to meet your child's needs effectively. This would be done through having a conversation with yourself and also through looking at your child's EHCP If they have one. Following this we would draft an EOTAS proposal which would then be submitted to the local authority.
Every EOTAS package we provide is completely bespoke, carefully designed to meet the unique needs of your child. From curriculum content to the delivery method, we tailor every aspect to ensure that your child receives the best possible support and education. At Spark Academy, the child is always at the heart of our decision-making, and their well-being and progress remain our top priority.
Group Online Tutoring Classes
We offer online group classes in core subjects: Maths, Reading, and Writing. These classes are carefully designed to cover key content from the National Curriculum, ensuring that your child builds a strong foundation in essential skills.
Each course runs for 6 to 8 weeks, providing structured, focused learning in small, supportive groups. Classes are taught by a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), who also holds a full DBS check for your peace of mind.
Our sessions are delivered through the Zoom platform, making them easily accessible from anywhere. Whether your child is learning at home, on the go, or in a remote location, they can join the class and fully engage in the lessons.
By participating in our group classes, your child will benefit from interacting with peers, gaining confidence, and making steady progress in a collaborative and encouraging online learning environment.
