What do you love most about your job?
As a cinematographer, my job is a daily blend of artistry and storytelling. I love the opportunity to visually interpret a script and bring it to life through carefully crafted shots and scenes. Working with light and color allows me to set the tone and emotion of a story, creating a rich visual experience for the audience. Collaborating closely with directors and other crew members fuels my creativity and pushes me to constantly innovate. The challenge of finding the perfect shot, the joy of capturing a scene just right, and the satisfaction of seeing it all come together make this job truly fulfilling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for visual storytelling and the desire for creative independence inspired me to start my own videography business. I’ve always been drawn to capturing meaningful moments on camera, and I wanted the freedom to explore diverse projects and express my unique vision. Starting my own business gave me the opportunity to connect with clients on a personal level and help them tell their stories in a way that resonates with them. The ability to build relationships, work on a variety of projects, and continuously challenge myself creatively makes this journey incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Virtual Consultations: I conduct meetings and consultations online to limit in-person interactions. This allows us to discuss project details and goals remotely. Safety Protocols: When in-person shoots are necessary, I follow strict safety guidelines, such as wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and providing hand sanitiser. Minimised Crew Sizes: I work with a smaller team during shoots to reduce the number of people on set and maintain safety. Sanitisation Measures: I regularly sanitise equipment before and after use to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Remote Editing: Clients can upload footage to a secure cloud platform for me to edit remotely, reducing the need for face-to-face meetings. Flexible Scheduling: I offer flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients' needs and any health-related concerns that may arise.
