I’ve worked with people ranging from a 92 year old lady looking to improve her health, to an athlete who is now competing overseas. My core specializations are weight loss, seniors 65+ and bodybuilding. My biggest motto and focus will be to make sure we HAVE FUN. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

My plan is to design a custom program for you through a progressive system. The first week we may see some trial and error but like any successful plan, we need to work through kinks together.

The practical aspects is going to involve me getting to know you and your lifestyle. We might have to make some changes but it won't ever involve restricting or taking away.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Mentality. Sure we can go on those fad diets and try doing 10 hours of cardio a week, but in the end, what will help you the most is how you approach fitness as a whole.

Instead of thinking about how you can get your dream body, we could replace that thought with what can I do to better my health? Most of the time, when a person really focuses on their wellbeing, they end up getting closer to that dream body. So in short, the secret is to focus on bettering your health.

I've used this approach myself and it's had me maintaining my health long term :)

What do you love most about your job?

I really love working with people and developing some amazing relationships with them! Meeting so many different people and being able to sometimes go as far as saving their life through fitness feels so amazing. It brings me so much joy to see the differences in energy and happiness levels from before and after they started training. The glow in their eyes when they tell me how now they can fit into those pants from years ago, the competitive nature that comes out as they get pushed further and further, these feelings and how it makes ME feel are irreplaceable.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I started out as an artist with a background in music, visual arts, and even theater, and the common denominator in all of those very different art forms is that you have creative freedom. Having my own business provides just that.

Having my own business, means my clients come first. In any gym setting, the priority is to bring in as much money as possible. Because this business is a smaller scale project, I can focus on putting my client first rather than the money and still make a living doing what I love!
