Fraser was creative in designing a house for me and proactive in pushing through planning permission. We decided to go for pre-planning, and when the planning officer asked for changes, Fraser rose to the challenge and tweaked the drawings, keeping me abreast of everything that was going on. Due to new regulations around bio-diversity, we had to have several surveys, and this created fairly lengthy waits, navigated by Fraser with persistence and good humour. I felt that I was in calm and capable hands, which was just as well, as I felt quite worried, and, at times, unsure that we'd get planning consent at all! But I'm pleased to say that we now have consent, and I am able to embark on the next stage of the journey. Thank you, Fraser! More...

What do you love most about your job?
I love working closely with my clients to know their lifestyles, tastes and their dreams for their home, and combining these with my own skills and design sensibilities.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After leaving my role as Senior Urban Design Officer at Brighton and Hove City Council, I wanted to get back to a smaller, more intimate architectural practice - one that focuses on knowing my clients well, and one where I can fully develop and realise my own creative process.
Why should our clients choose you?
My core values, design process and professional experience combine to offer my clients a secure, holistic and meaningful service.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I prefer to visit the home or site I am working with to understand it better, and to see and feel how things like daylight and neighbouring buildings may impact on the project. However, I can offer remote services for smaller, less complex projects.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All of our meetings can be undertaken at a safe distance with masks if required.
