Mark has been incredible on our journey with max we booked in for the 10 sessions and it’s 1000% been worth it, we’ve had a difficult start with max (German shepherd) as he needed surgery only his paw only a couple sessions in which led to him being house bound for 3 months recovering and was unable to go out which led to unwanted behaviours(luckily as soon as mark seen him again he was able to demonstrate how to deal with them). mark during his recovery period would always check up on him and us to always offer advice whilst he was in recovery to the best of his abilities, thankyou so much mark you’ve been a pleasure and have helped us out massively! Having finished our last training session with mark today, max’s behaviour, particularly reactivity to other dogs has improved massively and we feel fully confident to continue the work mark has showed us throughout our 10 sessions with him. Mark has been amazing to work with, I genuinely can’t recommend him enough to anyone needing help with their dog(s). He’s incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely understanding and so passionate about the dogs he works with. In as little as 2 sessions we already started to see so many positive changes in our dogs. He’s always only a text or phone call away, which has been so helpful when we’ve had particularly challenging days. First time using K9 International for one to one training sessions with my cocker Spaniel Bertie, spoke with Mark the trainer who was most professional, friendly and knows his stuff regarding all aspects of dog behaviours and training. Had my first session today with Mark who taught Bertie to heel walk in less than 5 minutes !! Iv been trying unsuccessfully for over a year and Mark worked his magic with Bertie almost immediately!! I'm absolutely delighted with months of lead pulling and headaches I now have the tools to continue this good behavior, I will be using Mark for further training needs with Bertie for other behaviours like recall and over reactive dog training and I can't wait to continue., I know this is going to change my life with Bertie and make life easier for all the family having a well trained dog is all anybody wants right !! I'm getting great results with k9 international in such a short time,marks super knowledge in bringing the best out of your dog is awesome. I have a puppy rottweiler and in just 3 wks so far the difference in my puppy is remarkable, sit , down position, on the lead with her looking up at me at my heel , and crate training. Can highly recommend Mark from K9-International. Recently had a dobbie who was 14 weeks when we started training. Wanted a trainer in as wanted to get it right due to having issues with other dogs in the past as well. Mark has given me the confidence and knowledge to train my dobbie to walk on the lead so he's next to me and also a few other things just within a short space of time.He has also been a message away if I needed advice on diet etc. Although a few weeks in can already see a difference and I'm really looking forward to the rest of our sessions. Had the best advice and training session with Mark. We had the behavioural assessment for our 7 year old cavashon Alfie. In this session Mark provided thorough examples and advice on behavioural corrections we could implement straight away with Alfie to correct his barking and dominant persona in the house. We will keep up with these corrections which seemed to work straight away when Mark was demonstrating these out and about with Alfie. 100% would recommend! More...

I cannot recommend K9-international highly enough. From the first initial message of me asking how it all works and having so many questions, Mark has been happy to answer all of our concerns and respond with every bit of information we asked for. We have currently just finished our second training session with Mark and the improvement we have seen in our 4 month old German shepherd already is amazing. Mark has been very polite and accommodating throughout, even squeezing us in at last minute and i feel comfortable messaging him with any concerns we may have. We’ve had a great experience working with Mark from K9 International for our 8-month-old terrier puppy, Norman. After a consultation and three training sessions focused on obedience and recall, we’ve seen real progress. Mark is professional, friendly, and explains things in a clear, practical way so we can easily incorporate training into our daily routine. He also helped us understand why Norman does certain things by explaining the instincts and motivations behind his behavior, which made the training feel more purposeful and effective. Norman is now calmer, responds to commands more consistently, and his recall is steadily improving. I have to large bubbly ,excitable beautiful poodles that needed control. Walking both of them was rarely a joy and it was becoming a chore, I needed help as I recognised that my dogs deserved to have a better experience. Hence Mark at K9. We are on wk 5 from a very detailed assessment a plan was formed. My dogs routines have changed inside and outside the home. I feel confident with controlling my dogs and walking is now a joy! We are exploring new environments so that my dogs are capable and reponsive to any and all challenges. I do my homework with the dogs and we are building our skills together . I cannot recommend K9-International highly enough. My 2-year-old Doberman, Luna, was struggling with behavioural issues both at home and on walks, and I was finding it difficult to manage. From the very first phone call, Mark took the time to listen carefully and offered helpful advice even before we met in person. He was incredibly knowledgeable and reassuring, explaining the training options available and how they could help. A few days later, Mark came to do a behaviour assessment with Luna and, in an amazing twist, we discovered that she is actually the sister of his own dog, Rupert! This connection made the experience feel even more personal. Since then, we’ve had just two training sessions, and the change in both Luna and me has been incredible. Mark has helped me to create boundaries, assert calm authority, and, most importantly, understand how to guide Luna in a way that helps her feel safe and secure. The dynamics between us have shifted dramatically for the better, and my confidence as her handler has grown immensely. Walks are becoming less stressful, and there’s far less anxiety all around. Mark has a true gift, not only is he fantastic at what he does, but he also has a calm, approachable way that instantly puts you at ease. I have a 13 month old Belgian malinois named Hugo we had an amazing assessment with Mark who give me fantastic advice and support throughout I have noticed a change in me and my dog already 😀 some of the best things Mark told me to do is take Hugos toys away until I say it's OK to play with them

Mark was incredible at K9-International. We booked our 9 month old Doberman in with him for a two week residential. After a number of meetings with several trainers locally, he was far the best. He was extremely professional, and he instantly made our girl behave. After she had spent two weeks with Mark, she came back a totally different dog.

I was sent daily videos of how she was getting on, and once back with me - I was talked through the steps of how I continue with her to keep Lucy.

I will also be using the K9-International team when we book holidays or weekends away, as I know she’ll be well looked after and would have received top up training throughout her stay. More...

My German Shepard x Labrador is reactive to humans/dogs and is borderline aggressive to strangers on walks and in my home. K9 international has been nothing short of amazing so far on our journey, not only helping my dog, but also helping me in building my confidence and gaining better control, understanding and knowledge of my boy. We booked an assessment with mark for our 10 month old Doberman Milo who is a puller and reactive to bikes. Mark came to the house and within minutes had showed us where we had been going wrong with the walking and had milo walking next to us for the first time with no pulling and showed us how to work through the reactivity . I block booked 10 sessions and am looking forward to working with mark to get our boy behaving on lead and off lead . Overall I can’t recommend k9 international enough 👍 More...

I was sceptical about booking an assessment with Mark at first as we had followed advice from numerous other dog trainers and nothing had worked. I had resigned to thinking that Ozzy was just unable to cope in certain situations, especially busy public spaces. However when Mark came to the house for the assessment, he had control of Ozzy within minutes. He went from full on jumping, mouthing and lunging to pretty calm very quickly. Whereas usually that unwanted behaviour would go on for hours or until guests left. Mark also suggested we go to a local pub to see Ozzy's reaction there, which I was absolutely dreading because of many unsuccessful previous attempts, but I was shocked that not only did Ozzy not bark once, he was also calm and sitting or lying down besides us the whole time, even with another dog on the next table. Prior to this he had always barked uncontrollably and lunged at every person and dog he could see. After seeing these results in just an hour or so, I made a block booking of 10 training sessions and am now feeling optimistic that with Mark's guidance we can get Ozzy's behaviour under control. We have booked training with Mark to help to solve several issues with our Border Collie puppy. With friendly professional training our dog's behaviour is starting to improve. We have a 10 month old Doberman called milo recently he developed an intense reactivity towards bikes and anything fast moving, we have tried other dog and puppy classes and nothing seemed to be working until we found K9 international. Mark came to our house to assess milo and within minutes had him walking perfectly on the leash with no pulling as he usually would. He also showed us how to manage the reactivity towards bikes I cannot recommend mark highly enough he is very knowledgeable and professional, wish we would have found him earlier, so we will hopefully be continuing Milo’s training with marks help. I have a bearded collie and he is such a lovely well natured boy but he used to get super excited and loved attention. He would jump when I had visitors, constant jumping up at people on walks and barking for people to play with him. After hiring Mark, my boy soon started to change his behaviour. Mark demonstrated how to communicate effectively, giving simple one word commands, getting the timing right with praise and equally guiding the dog when he gets it wrong, so he knew what I was asking of him. We recently discovered K9-International on the off chance whilst walking our dog in the park. We have a Great Dane who has a great temperament but is very nervous, pulls when walking and can also be reactive. Although she is friendly she can look out of control at times. We spoke to Mark who then did an initial meet and greet and have only had a few sessions so far but Harleys behaviour is vastly better. We look forward to further improvements as we go forward.
