⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would highly recommend JW Exterior Cleaning Services. Very professional with some pretty impressive industrial equipment which I can imagine halved the length of the job. My house is surrounded by trees so the gutters become extremely full and overgrown. James is very reasonably priced so I thought he'd run a mile when he saw how bad they were and how long it would potentially take but thankfully he didn't. James stuck to his word and was very professional and reliable. He's a trooper and percevered until the gutters were spotless and looked like new. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Five Star Review! I engaged with James for JW Exterior Cleaning Services as he was local To us and some of our external stonework had years of grime on it. (We have trees to the rear of our house). Having tired to clean it myself with little success, I decided to get someone who knew what they were doing. James was punctual and polite and knew exactly what product to use. As a result the stone looked better than it ever has! Along with the stone he cleaned up our composite decking, balustrade and stairs with Fantastic results. The conservatory hasn’t been properly cleaned for well over 10 years and it now looks almost like new. He also made an excellent job of cleaning out the gutters on the house and cleaned all the windows. He was punctual, polite and worked solidly until the job was done. A five star service! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Extremely happy with the work JW Exterior Cleaning did for me. The price was the best around and the quality of the work was done to a fantastic standard. Nothing was too much trouble for James and he even cleaned extra bits that I would never even think about cleaning. I would be very confident in recommending JW Cleaning to anyone. James came across as polite, friendly and very trustworthy. James has also just completed a cleaning job at my parents new retirement property. They were likewise impressed and have also recommended him to their friends. JW turned up on time and spent the whole day cleaning non stop (except for eating his packed lunch) The finished clean looked spectacular, normally it would take me 3 days to clean my drive & parking area. JW did this in one full day and did a much better job than I would have done. Also the finished clean lasted much longer than when I do it. Our block driveway was in a sorry state following building work on the house. There was plenty of black spots and concrete splatter left over from an extension build on the house. James came out and diligently explained the causes of the black spot and the difficulty there might be in removing the concrete. What inspired you to start your own business?
Growing up on a Cumbrian farm, I’ve always enjoyed hard work and spending time outdoors. After spending 15 years working as a mechanical engineer, I found myself longing for the hands-on work I once loved and for a chance to move away from the 9-to-5 office job.
In 2020, while renovating my house and garden, I rediscovered my passion for working outdoors and the satisfaction of a practical job well done. This rekindled my love for exterior cleaning and helped me develop the skills and techniques required to be a professional exterior cleaning specialist.
Eventually, I took the plunge, left the rat race behind and started my own business - JW Exterior Cleaning Services!

Prior to starting my own exterior cleaning business, I worked for 15 years as a Mechanical Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry. What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As an exterior cleaning company, we routinely sanitize and disinfect surfaces. Disinfection is an integral part of our daily services. We maintain a supply of disinfectants, biocides, and sodium hypochlorite, all of which are effective in eliminating viruses.
Frequently, we use diluted sodium hypochlorite mixed with a soaping agent to clean roofs and surfaces, as it is highly effective at eliminating moss, algae, and dirt. Additionally, we apply biocides to control moss and algae growth on roofs and renders, with specific biocides available to target and kill viruses.
