We recently used JRD Plumbing and Heating during renovation works at Lullaby Sea Day Nursery in Bude and were extremely pleased with the service they provided. From the outset, the team were professional, friendly, and very approachable. They took the time to understand our requirements as a nursery setting and offered helpful advice and guidance on suitable products, which was greatly appreciated during the renovation process. The work was completed in a timely and efficient manner, fitting well within our renovation schedule and with minimal disruption. Communication throughout was excellent, and we always felt informed and confident about the progress of the work. We recently moved into a house with very poor hot water pressure so it dribbled out of the kitchen sink and a pump was needed for the shower. We saw that the issues could be solved by installing an unvented tank. This needed to be done before we remodelled the bathroom so we got in touch with JRD Plumbing following a Facebook recommendation. I admit I was a bit dubious about using a company recommended this way and that I had not heard of previously. I need not have worried as within a day or two of contacting them Jake came out to look at the job and sent me a detailed quote. On acceptance a date was confirmed and two of his team arrived ready to begin work first thing in the morning of that date. Harry and Tom were clean and tidy throughout the day, they were friendly but professional and they discussed with me exactly what they were going to be doing to make sure I was happy with every element before it was carried out. The tank was replaced and they thoroughly cleared away any mess before leaving. We now have excellent pressure and couldn’t be happier with the work carried out. We are so very pleased with the full new bathroom fit out at our home, project managed and carried out so expertly by Jake and the team. Thank you to them and the other specialist trades involved to create the look, feel and result we had imagined, were hoping for and now got. It was not just the end result but the way that result was delivered. We found Jake, Harry, Tom and Jess so friendly, professional, courteous, flexible, agile, responsive and patient throughout, never forgetting to keep what we wanted at the centre for the approach they took. A special shout out also to Gemma and Chris at City Plumbing in Bude for all their help with the layout design and choice of tiles and bathroom suite. A terrific team effort and result.
