Wow, what can I say… One of the reasons I wanted to get married was to throw a massive party for all my friends and family, everyone that I love, and we sure did have a great party. Laura played great tunes for everyone, she kept the older members of my family happy with some motown, disco and rock classics, and some great pop, garage, afrobeat & reggae for the younger members of my family and friends. We hired DJ Laura Mac for our wedding and couldn’t recommend her high enough. From the start Laura was super communicative, we had a chat on the phone about our music tastes and sent her through our top ten favourite songs, she worked with the venue to ensure the whole night ran smoothly and was perfect. I hired Laura Mac for my son’s 18th Birthday party. The night was a fantastic success. People were dancing constantly for 4 hours. It made the night absolutely unforgettable.
Communication was excellent, we talked on the phone to begin with and I emailed over a few of our favourite songs. From a small list Laura Mac filled the entire evening with the perfect set for our guests. It felt like she was part of the party and really wanted my son to have the best evening. I’ve known Laura for over 20 years and in that time I have used her as a DJ on numerous ocassions. She’s helped organise and DJed at my son’s school discos and birthday parties right up to his teenage years. All the kids love her as she is a such a fun, cool and warm person.

I have also used Laura for a few fashion shows / cat walks (I am a fashion designer) where professionalism and timings are really important, the music needs to be played at the exact time to sync with the models and Laura has never let me down with this.

And finally I’ve loved using Laura for my Birthday parties over the years, she has a great taste in music that varies across lots of different genres and an amazing abilitiy to read the room and keep people dancing all night.

A friend recommended I used Laura for my 40th Birthday party and I was not disappointed! She played a really good mix of music across all genres which is what we wanted, she happily took requests from all my friends and played all my favourite house tunes for me. She also had a really great sound system, the speakers had lots of clarity which is really important to me as I am a music person myself. She kept the music to a good level at the beginning of the night so my friends could chat and hear each other, and gradually increased it throughout the night creating a great party vibe.

We run a monthly night at the Zodiac bar in London, "Pink Friday" We first booked Laura back in October and have continued to have her back.
