How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
Since 80% of the immune system is located in the gut, it’s very important to make sure you are eating the right foods for your body. If the gut isn’t happy, the rest of the body won’t be happy!
What do you love most about your job?
It’s the best feeling in the world knowing that I’ve helped clients find relief from horrible symptoms even when their doctor said it couldn’t be done.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I live with a rare incurable connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. You wouldn’t know it by looking at me though. I don’t look like a sick person (or whatever doctors think a sick person should look like). As a result, I have been repeatedly mistreated and dismissed by medical providers who were supposed to have my best interests at heart.
My business inspiration is best summed up by the following quote: “Be the change you wish to see in the world”
