* Should I choose a Life Coach or a Therapist? See the Q & A For a more complete answer on the difference between the two. Maybe you’re carrying stress that doesn’t go away. You may feel disconnected from your partner, your family, your purpose, or from yourself. You know something needs to change, even if you’re not sure where to begin. I help men, women, and couples slow down, understand what’s happening, and take practical steps toward a life and relationships that feel more connected, intimate, and alive. My coaching is personal, honest, and grounded. We identify what matters most and create changes you can begin making now... one step at a time. For couples, I help partners move beyond routine, distance, and recurring conflict to rediscover intimacy, play, attraction, and togetherness. Our work may include mindful communication, creative practices, polarity, photography, and shared experiences that help you see and choose each other again. I’m Leo A. Sante, a certified Positive Psychology Life Coach, yoga and meditation teacher, longtime educator, and father of three. My own life has included immigration, divorce, parenting, and changing careers in my 40s. I know what it means to begin again. Holding Presence is LGBTQ+ affirming. I welcome clients of different backgrounds, identities, cultures, and family structures, and work best with people who value openness, curiosity, and respect for the diversity of our communities. Se habla español. Please Note: Coaching is an active partnership that requires action and commitment. What do you love most about your job?

Witnessing the transformations that unfolds when small, intentional changes ripple through my clients' lives.

Many of my clients come to me during times of significant transition, seeking steadiness and clarity. They're vulnerable and want a safe place to explore, share, and heal.

It’s so fulfilling to be able to guide them back toward peace and happiness. I love seeing them smile again, watching them rediscover the things that bring them joy and new possibilities.

Most of all, I love seeing how their joy starts to radiate outward — touching their family lives, strengthening connections at work, and inspiring everyone around them. They start to share their happiness with the world around them, so I know the impact is always growing.

What inspired you to start your own business?

The desire to help people feel happier, more peaceful, and more connected to each other. I love what I do. Seeing parents and kids connecting in a workshop, seeing couples find love in new ways, or even hearing from old clients who applied the mindfulness tools to get through a difficult time ... there's nothing more satisfying professionally.

When I saw that I could create safe spaces for people to come together, to connect in new ways, and to try new ways to cultivate happiness, I just knew I needed to share these tools with as many people as possible.

Why should our clients choose you?

Should I choose a coach or a therapist?

It depends on what kind of support you need.

If you’re dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, or serious mental health concerns, therapy is usually the right place to begin. A therapist is trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions and can help you work through deeper emotional pain.

Coaching is different. Coaching is a good fit when you’re ready to look at what’s happening in your life now, clarify what you want, and take practical steps forward.

As a coach, I help clients navigate stress, relationships, career changes, habits, parenting, purpose, and personal growth. The work is supportive and honest, but also active. We focus on awareness, action, accountability, and meaningful change.

I offer coaching for individuals and for couples. I am not a marriage counselor or therapist.

Choose to work with me only after we talk and we feel we're a good fit. That's first.

There are lots of things that set me apart, including my personal life journey and my professional experience.

I know what it’s like to face life's real challenges. I get it. So I bring a unique empathy, compassion, and practicality to every session.

I have three kids of my own. I also work in a high school environment. So, I know the challenges of parenting and connecting with kids in today's age of screens.

I also know the challenges of life after divorce. It's a painful time, but also a time of healing, redirection, and liberation.

I know what it's like to rebuild, to rediscover, to free oneself, to try again, to find new love, to cultivate peace even in the challenges of everyday life.

Of course, each client is different.

I meet you where you are and guide you toward where you want to be. I do this with heart, wisdom, and real-world experience.

In an age where finding a therapist is so difficult, coaching is a powerful alternative that helps you achieve your specific life goals. We don't look back, we look to the here and now to see what you want. I support you in moving forward.

My approach is rooted in over 20 years of teaching, meditation, workshops, and coaching.

Using tools from the science of positivity, the calm of yoga and meditation, and the art of deep connection, I listen to your unique needs and goals.

Together, we build the clarity, strength, and habits that lead to the life you want to create for yourself.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes, I offer online remote coaching. Many of my clients connect through Facetime or Zoom.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

To help customers feel safe from Covid, I offer in person and online sessions.
