War Horse is not your typical gym, and one that's quickly become my home. I'd never really been able to find a sport or activity that I enjoyed doing consistently in the past. So this gym has been an absolute game changer for me both mentally and physically. From the amazing and knowledgeable coaches, to the awesome members and community, I've finally found something that I consistently want to do and enjoy doing every single day. I came to War Horse wanting to get stronger, but I never thought I'd be inspired let alone fit in around a room full of people lifting heavy weights and pushing a heavy prowler. But the thing I've realized is that as long as you want to work hard, fitting in at War Horse is easy! After participating in the IGNITE program at War Horse for about a year, I found that I had fallen in love with the barbell so much that I wanted to change gears and participate in War Horse's powerlifting program. Now I am three powerlifting competitions in, and I have no plans of slowing down. Coach Chris at War Horse has been providing me and other powerlifters with a personalized powerlifting program as well as quality and incredibly smart coaching and support, which has truly transformed lifting into my lifestyle and passion. And it doesn't hurt that I've gotten really strong! The results pretty much speak for themselves. I'm sure I wouldn't have discovered powerlifting without War Horse, and I can't imagine my life without it now.Whether it's IGNITE, semi-private, or powerlifting, what's great about this gym is that we get to work out with like minded people every day with the same goals and who are incredibly supportive of one another. I trust the coaches and the program, and because of that I've learned what I'm capable of and what I know I'll be able to do in the future! Honestly the best gym I've ever joined and has truly changed my life for the better!
We actually live in Chattanooga, but visit our friends in Philly each summer. I have attended several classes on the piers across the past several years and have loved every single one of them. Most recently, my friend and I attended the Twilight Yoga on June 28th. It truly was a sweet practice and so refreshing. I love how you have the other instructors rotating through the crowd to help adjust poses to the correct alignment. I truly felt a peace and joy throughout the practice and was completely rejuvenated at the end of the practice. One of my favorite parts of Philly is Yoga at the Pier! Thank you for all you do to make these free group practices possible!
Where do I even begin? Brandon at Culture Philly has completely changed my entire relationship with fitness. I went from hating the gym and being convinced that I’d never be able to lift more than a 12 lb kettlebell, to absolutely being in love with being active. I’ve been going to Culture Philly consistently for about 3 months, and I have zero intentions on training anywhere else for the foreseeable future. Every week I’m amazed at my progress and just how far I’ve come from my initial consultation. I’ve even convinced my husband to go and he’s excited to continue training there as well.Brandon is an amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive trainer who will give you the confidence to go beyond what you “think” you can achieve, while challenging you to be the best/strongest version of yourself. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor right now... go to their website, sign up for a free consultation and get prepared to have your life changed for the better. Future you will be thankful!
Great workout with the kiddos. Instructors modify workouts depending on what your body needs and help out with the kiddos so you can get your workout in!
Bonus:eating wonderful mamas that have become my friends.
What an awesome gym. Absolutely love the place. Its spacious, has great equipment, is clean and the instructors are top notch and friendly. Fellow students are all good people and this place had me feeling at home very quickly. Being new to Philly and still a Muay Thai novice, I've tried most Muay Thai gyms in Philly and this is by far my favourite. I've trained here for about 3 weeks and wish I could continue. Now to the bad part. The pricing structure. I wont mention prices because I'm not sure they want it advertised...but it is definitely expensive, unless you pay upfront or sign a 12 month contract (in which case it still is expensive). I guess this has its positives. It maintains a certain type of dedicated clientele and it goes to keeping a really well managed gym in order...problem is, I really don't want to be tied into a contract. I also just don't have huge lump sum closer to the $1k mark lying around to pay upfront for gym. I would love to be a member of this gym but I cant sign contracts. I don't have any contracts except for my lease so I don't see why my gym needs to tie me down. I'll look around and try Body Arts Gym, maybe go back to Stay Fly Muay Thai too*Note (Stay Fly is awesome but it feels like most people there are pro fighters so a little intimidating to newer fighters)Overall, Daddis is really good
Being new to the area of Philly, this wonderful gem was warm and welcoming. It was my hope to be apart of the Tribe. In time, I was asked to teach and now I am! I am thankful to be apart of an amazing yoga community and Yoga and Pilates team of teachers!! If you are looking to warm up, move, sweat, work hard, and have a little fun along the way, this is where you want to be! Everyone brings their own flavor to each class while keeping the overall theme of sweat & surrender! Thank you so much!!

Yeah there's a ton of fitness studios in the city but in all sincerity non compare to the atmosphere you get at Forza. Everyone is super enjoyable to be around and all the trainers have a different specialty. It's great because you can work with the trainer who will get you the best results while socializing with the trainer who you get along with the best. The trainers work as a team so they don't mind if you so this. Really great personal training space where only the top fitness pros in the city work.
