There is nothing more fulfilling and rewarding than taking away people's/animals' pain and suffering. We all just want to be happy and enjoy life. I wish I knew about energy healing years ago because it can do things that western medicine can't. So, when a doctor or veterinarian gives a discouraging diagnoses and there's nothing more they can do, or when someone's physical or mental condition isn't improving, energy healing could help.
Growing up, I *never* wanted my own business because I didn't know any entrepreneurs personally. No one in my family and no friends had their own business. I knew nothing about starting one and wouldn't know where to begin. However, when you finally know what your calling is, you do whatever it takes. After doing energy healing for people and animals (and on myself), seeing the incredible results, and witnessing true "miracles" (and experiencing them first-hand), it was impossible for me to continue selling software. My biggest fear was having a mortgage in San Francisco and making 1/10 of my corporate income, but the universe provides when we help others and do something that we are absolutely passionate about and truly love. I also learned how to manifest and have never been happier :-) Now, I just want to share the magic and what I've learned with others.
I wouldn't have left the corporate world (and that income), if energy healing didn't work. Keep in mind: Every practitioner is different. I thought once someone got certified/trained, everyone had the same abilities, but I discovered over the years that it's just like any other profession. I know some people who got certified but when they do Reiki, nothing happens. It's simply not their calling. A couple mediums told me I was a "healer" in 2014 and 2015 - I had no idea what a healer was, and I didn't care because I was happy selling software. Then of course, many events, challenges, set-backs, people and synchronicities led me down this path.
I would definitely check out the practitioner's website and testimonials. Or get references, which is what we did in the corporate world. I'm positive that any of my clients would be happy to share their experiences with you.
I would select a Practitioner based on your gut and who you get a good feeling about - someone you're drawn to or feel a connection with, based on what they say, their website, photos and the energy that you feel (or don’t feel). Trust your instincts because you will be guided to the right one.
Some practitioners have many years of experience. Others, like myself, may have been a healer in past lives or come from a spiritual lineage of healers. Natural and experienced healers, and people who have healed themselves may be a clearer vessel to transfer the energy - so the energy might be stronger, which accelerates the healing process. I call upon my spiritual ancestors and an entire group of higher beings to help me during sessions - I don't do it alone. Sometimes they move my hands so that they're in the perfect position, even if it's only 1/2 an inch. And I have a whole process/things that I do during a session, beyond transferring the energy via my hands.
I believe the practitioners who are answering their calling and truly passionate about what they do provide the best service and will resolve your issues quickly without requiring ongoing sessions for an indefinite amount of time. There are always going to be con artists, but testimonials will be a good way to weed them out.
Also, I wouldn't purchase multiple sessions up front. How do you know 1 session won't be enough? Almost all of my clients have been healed in 1-3 sessions.. but, it will depend on your situation/condition. If you are going through radiation or chemotherapy, or have had a chronic condition for yearss, or are in excruciating pain from major surgery, or taking a ton of medication for something, then it will require more treatments. My goal is to help you heal so that you do *not* need Reiki anymore (not to make you keep coming back).
