Hello! I am Teacher Angie. I'm an energetic, professional ESL teacher with over two decades of teaching experience, both online and in schools. I have a Bachelor's degree from Texas Woman's University and have held a teaching certification in the state of Texas, I'm a Native English speaker and hold a TESOL. I also teach reading and writing to native English-speaking students. I teach because I am passionate about inspiring young children to love English. I know the value of speaking English and the opportunities that it provides. I also understand that my younger students do not always understand the value that good English will offer them. Therefore, I make it my job to make English fun and enjoyable for them to learn. It is my honor to be a part of this valuable education. I have taught children of all ages, from 3 years old and up. My classroom in fun and friendly. I always greet my students with a smile and provide a warm, encouraging learning environment. I am an American from Dallas, Texas. However, I have just returned to America after living in India for 5 years. I lived in three major Indian locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad and Goa. I have also traveled extensively around Thailand during my time in Southeast Asia. I find it exciting to immerse myself in other cultures to learn about the differences in family life, history, food, and special celebrations, I am very grateful for the rich life experiences I have gained from living abroad. My hobbies include taking dance classes and singing for audiences. I love to be creative in many ways, including visual arts and writing. I enjoy spending time in nature with friends and alone, meditating. I try to include all of these hobbies in my travel experiences as well. Life is an amazing adventure! I look forward to seeing your child in my classroom. I will help them become the very best English speaker, reader and writer that they can be. As their teacher, I will expect hard work and focus from them, all while having fun learning.

What do you love most about your job?

I teach because I am passionate about inspiring young children to love English. I know the value of speaking English and the opportunities that it provides. I also understand that my younger students do not always understand the value that good English will offer them. Therefore, I make it my job to make English fun and enjoyable for them to learn. It is my honor to be a part of this valuable education. I have taught children of all ages, from 3 years old and up. My classroom in fun and friendly. I always greet my students with a smile and provide a warm, encouraging learning environment.

What inspired you to start your own business?

During my 8 years as an online teacher, I have taught for a couple of China-based ESL companies. I decided I wanted to diversify the location of my students in 2021. I began accepting private students early last year in order to teach students all over the world. It's very rewarding. Also, working privately allows me to provide a much more customized learning experience for my students.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am an engaging teacher that your child will look forward to attending lessons with. Engagement is one factor but I also strive to make my students feel great about themselves! Effective learning environments are friendly and encouraging to build and maintain a student's confidence and therefore, their interest in learning.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
