Tutor Doctor

We provide both in home and virtual tutoring for all subjects and age ranges. I am a certified teacher (in elementary and special education) with my Master of Arts from Missouri Baptist University. I am in love with helping others, and have noticed in my 12 years of teaching there being a high need for individual instruction. My consultations are conducted in home and I give students both an academic assessment and learning style assessment. I will then walk the family through the process of what sets us apart from other companies, my recommendation for tutoring hours per week, and pricing. My tutors are given an extensive criminal background check and three professional references, and most of them possess master's degrees in the field.

What do you love most about your job?

My favorite part of my job is helping others succeed in their academic journey. It fills my cup up and makes my heart full. My mother is an RN (nurse), so I think that's where I get my giving nature from. I also love meeting amazing tutors I hire who love making a difference just like me, and collaborating about what else we can do to help the students/children/families we serve.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After 12 years of teaching in the classroom, I was always noticing the high need for individual instruction, and I'd spend countless hours tutoring after school helping those in need. I've always been in love with helping other people, and making them thrive in their learning environment.

Why should our clients choose you?

We believe in truly digging deeper with how we can provide assistance to our families, getting to know them, and we truly love what we do. We also provide a Tutor Match Guarantee where we will match you with that perfect tutor (based on personality, qualifications, etc), but if not, we will replace the tutor with another one as quickly as possible. We also do our own community marketing in town, and our own events. I also answer the phone when you call because I love to get to know my families and figure out how we can help them. I then provide an academic assessment and learning style assessment at the consultations so my tutors know where to meet the students academically.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes! We provide our tutoring services both in home and online. The tutor is happy to use any online platform that the student feels comfortable with (Bramble, Zoom, etc);

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We encourage social distancing, hand washing, and wearing the masks in the homes with families.
